Making A Windcover

Hi guys
not sure if this is the place for this, but here it goes (don't ban me!)
i wanted to know what was the best way to make a homemade windcover
lately i've just made a tinfoil circle and crumpled the top, which has just kinda sucked
it is either too hot or does nothing, and likes to blow away and knock my coals
i do not have any SB cans, which is what i found to be the most popular windcover substitute
i was gonna try a arizona ice tea can next
i'm smoking a mya bambino, stock (mini) mya bowl
any other thoughts?
thanks

Back before I bought a real one I wrapped a Styrofoam cup in foil, maby 4 or 5 times. Only used it inside but had no problems with keeping it on. Iced tea can could work, but would heat up much hotter then you want it to be, causing temperature control and removal to be difficult.

Do you want a windcover for indoor or outdoor use?

no worries mate like they said any can will do as long as it can sit on your tray. personally my favorate is a can of juice one of the larger ones of grapefruit. i cut a 1 inch hole at the other end of the open side so it has a way for the heat to go out then with a drill i drilled holes all around on the side just randomly be sure and use a punch to make a lil indention so the drill bit has a place to start at or else it'll just go everywhere. it looks alright and i eventually took sharpie markers to it and still works great just grab from the bottom when you go to lift it.

If you have a hand held can opener, you can use that instead. Usta cut the top off of beer cans that way.
