BoNeSy
Aight, i live in colorado springs and next to tuscon i swear this is the driest place on the planet. now even a seal container can keep shisha from drying out. So I have like 250g left of assorted flavors and everytime i use them the shisha catches on fire and let me say that is the most unpleasant smoke ever!!! so what are the best ways to try an revive this dryed up stuff? HookahDuck
It catches on fire!? Go to your local drugstore and buy glycerine. Allow it to soak into it over night or so, and you'll be fine.Others have had success doing the same thing with honey- only use less than you think you need. njnets54
well not really sure about shisha but for cigars i use a tupperaware and have cedar wood with humifiying beads. i havent tried it for my shisha but that should keep it constally fresh
Lakemonster
Yikes.... I used to lve in AZ myself....... SO... is your cooling system "evaporative".... or "Swamp Cooler"? If not.... then your house is going to be really dry. If so ... then I suggest figuring out some sort of a humdor situation.... something you could build yourself and use products for cigar humidors (including a hygrometer) ... and keep your humidty around 70% or so. Sonthert
Its actually humidity shock, sounds like. It is dry, you need to open those tubs up and let them acclimate to the air. The fact they are airtight and used to damper air...you open them up to that dry air and it dies real quick, I know. San Diego can pretty damn dry when the wind blows off of the Lagunas.
