First of all, just wanna say hi. Been a reader of this forum for quite some time, but never got around to actually register unti now .
My situation is the following. I live in Portugal, and that's quite the bad choice for a hookah smoker to live :x. I only know about 2 shops that actually sell shisha and shisha related stuff, one of them being one of those "junkie" shops. The other one sells Nakhla shisha for about 1.5 euros a 50 g box, has some nice hookahs (wildly overpriced, I've buit my own, and I like it a lot, smokes way better than the ones in the hookah bars) and really bad charcoal (bagdad charcoal).
So the question is, anyone from around here knows where I can buy better charcoal from? I've seen the american online shops but it's really expensive to order from so far away... I wanted something like 3 Kings, or another nice quicklite

Hey mods, I'm writing this post in portuguese, as I found a portuguese mate in hookaholism, I'm not alone anymore! I hope that's ok.


Então pá, tás bom? Já vi que és do Porto pa, eu sou vermelho, mas moro no Porto. Estranho tu no morares perto de Lisboa, estamos trocados.

Bem vindo ao fórum, aprendi muita coisa aqui (praticamente tudo o que sei sobre este fantástico hobby), ja cá ando há cerca de dois anos, embora, como tu. só me tenha registado passado uns tempos de leitura e a minha contribuição em termos de posts não seja grande.

Quanto à tua dúvida, eu também tenho apenas acesso a nakhla aqui no Porto. Isto em termos de preços aceitaveis. Depois tambem tenho wazir e sinbad, mas a preços ipraticaveis (6€ por 50g). Nakhla é uma boa marca, tem alguns sabores óptimos (laranja, cereja, double apple) mas aqui em Portugal, apesar de conseguir bons preços, na maior parte das vezes a shisha que compro acaba por ja ser velha.

Carvão tambem consigo comprar da marca 3 kings, que é uma boa marca, mas tambem so o consigo por um preço nao muito apetecivel (20€ por uma caixa de 33mm). Isto juntado ao facto de haver outras marcas a meu ver melhores tanto de carvoes instantaneos como de naturais (CH instant lites; exoticas), faz com que nao goste de muito de comprar carvao nas lojas locais.

Bem, por tudo isto, a melhor solução que encontrei, tanto a nivel de qualidade como no preço foi de começar a mandar vir a shisha dos Estados Unidos. Para poupar nos portes tenta arranjar um amigo com quem possas dividir os custos de envio. Podes experimentar marcas de shisha como Al Fakher, Tangiers Fusion, Starbuzz, bem como de carvao que ca nao arranjas.

Tambem existem varias lojas alemas de shisha, com cachimbos (myas e narguilem) e carvao (cococha e cocobricos) a óptimos preços. No entanto a shisha na alemanha é cara, para alem de ter menos glicerina que o normal devido às leis de lá.

Por fim, outro óptimo motivo paraq se comprar material do estrangeiro é a existencia de acessorios que ca nao encontras. Mangueiras nammor e razan, difusores e phunnel bowls. Estes ultimos principalmente fazem uma grande diferença.

Lembra-te no entanto que, se comprares fora da uniao europeia nao deves mandar vir muita coisa numa só ordem, para nao correres risco de ter de pagar taxas alfandegarias. Para alem disso, lembra-te de pedires ao comerciante para nao por referencias a tabaco na encomenda.

O carvão arranjo coisa de 1,5 € / pacote de 10 carvões, não sei ao certo a marca porque no saquinho só vem em árabe. Mas são bacanos, demoram um bocadinho a acender só.

Nunca experimentei lojas alemas, mas users ingleses cá do forum ja experimentaram a www.shisha-world.com e recomendam.

Quanto a mim, vou experimentar a www.shisha-net.de para encomendar um acendedor de carvoes electrico, bem como carvão cocobrico.

O Mya Bambino, posso-te recomendar porque tenho um Eu ja ponho aqui umas fotos do bombardeiro a funcionar.

Outro cachimbo que é muito bom é o Mya QT, que tem um amigo meu. Em termos de experiência de fumo é igualzinho ao Bambino, mas tem duas vantagens: a base é mais estavel (é praticamente impossivel virares o cachimbo quando ele esta pousado) e dá para meter uma mangueira extra comprando o adaptador. Eu acabei por comprar o bambino por ser, a meu ver, mais bonito

Se em portugal vcs acham caro e dificil de achar imagina eu que moro no brasil,o unico jeito de fumar essencias(shisha,por aqui se chama assim) de boa qualidade é gastando muito dinheiro mandando trazer dos EUA

Moving on... I did go to that shop today. They don't have Al Fakher though, only Al Wazir and Cleopatra. I forgot to mention, but sometimes there is Cleopatra shisha where I buy Nakhla. I find it to be quite worse than Nakhla, I don't buy it anymore.

Bem, prometido é devido portanto aqui estão umas fotos que tirei agora a uma sessaozita de shisha.




Aqui está o menino, Mya Bambino verde.




O corpo do cachimbo em pormenor.




Usei um phunnel bowl pequeno em vez da taça que vem com o cachimbo que, diga-se de passagem, é uma valente cagada. Fumei Al Fakher Menta (que é a minha shisha favorita, simplesmente fantastica).




Podes ver a diferença de tamanho consideravel entre o phunnel e a taça mya Felizmente tenho um mini phunnel a caminho para as sessoes a solo. Para alem de ser pequena, a taça mya tem uma ceramica fina, o que faz com que seja muito facil queimar a shisha. Para alem disso, os buracos sao muito pequenos, o que faz com que muitas vezes, principalmente com shishas de corte mais pequeno, entupam e cortem a passagem do ar.




Este foi o padrao de furos que usei.

O cachimo pronto a bombar. A mangueira que estava a usar nesta sessão não é a que vem com o cachimbo, é uma Grand Washable da hookah company. A mangueira stock é uma mya normal verde da qual eu não gosto nada.

Hi ! I also Live in Portugal ( Lisbon) I know where to buy  3 kings for 1 euro and half , it s my favorite coal I usually buy it on martin Moniz I dont know the store name but there´s like 30 stores in that arera you can buy Hookah stuff I also know where to get  StarBuzz tobaco , in case anyones is interessed . Btw I had Wazir of mint and Mizo lemon those two were my favorite ones unfortunatly never saw more those for sell , anyone knows where to buy those in Portugal ?
