O I forgot to mention...make sure you teach people to properly pack a bowl and what not because I used to go to a hookah bar in downtown Cincinnati and it was awesome at first but that was because the owner was making the hookahs himself, once he expanded the quality went down hill because the other people didnt know how to set it up correctly so please do so it will help you in the long run.

clean out the hookahs once a customer is finished. there's nothing more annoying than ordering a strawberry hookah and having it taste like mint instead because they didn't clean out the hookah/bowls.

Good call. Also, if you're not using washable hoses, make sure you keep a variety of different hoses that are only used with certain types of flavors (flowery, fruity, minty, etc). If you are using washables (probably a good investment), just keep them clean.

i vote that it is pointless to use non washable hoses at a lounge

You will also need some good looking ladiezzzz... so have a ladies 1/2 off night. more ladies=more fellas

while a good idea for business, im sorry but the ladies night stuff pisses me off. frankly i dont see a hookah bar as a place to go pick up girls its a place to go chill with friends, and if its a good place you wont need to be trying to pull people in.

the local place i go to only has a few radio adds and the only special thing is the movie night on sundays. they hit capacity of the building almost every friday and saturday (small place but still 40ish people)

just a freaking pet peeve of mine
