No Flavor Please *help*

the packing the bowl a little down but still with airflow kinda worked...i tasted a very little amount of flavor...slim to none...but when i was finished and cleaned up when i took the bowl of there was a puddle of thick red syrup under it. is that the flavor seeping out of what? its just red syrup under the bowl under the ash tray thing....i was smoking alfahker mixed fruit (red). its a very juicy moist shisha kept in the original 250g container with the shisha inside a ziplock inside.???whats going on!! AH!!

I think I know what your problem is... it's the damn Nammour hose. I just bought two off of hookah-shisha a couple of weeks ago... NEVER got a good smoke from it at all. Barely a hint of flavor. Easy draw, big clouds, bad taste.

The damn hoses taste like plastic. I've cleaned my damn hose like nine times - with hot water, lemon juice, dish soap, vodka... i've tried everything. damn thing still tastes like plastic. get a new hose and look at the various videos on youtube and here at the hookahforum on how to pack a bowl.

i went back to my egyptian cobra and i've never looked back.

duuude u know u cood b right....cuz ive actually never used my original hose....only once and i think i packed the bowl wrong or it was harsh....ima was my original plastic/leather hose that came with my Mya with some lemon juice and see if it works....cuz if what u r saying is true than its the Nammor Hoses fault and i do know that it has the plastic taste evgen after ive cleaned it extremely well. thanks im going to try it next time i have a sesh..

so just to clarify what u say is that this happend to u or ur frend or sumthin and it was the nammor hose and wen u went to a different hose it was fine.??

Do NOT wash your mya hose out they are not washable and WILL rust!

I takes a good 5-10 bowls before a nammor hose "breaks" in. After that it shouldnt have much plastic taste to it.

ya i know not to wash that but ive washed my nammor hose alot and it doesnt have much plastic taste but i still dont taste any flavor from my shisha???

That's upwards to ten bad sessions... that's ridiculous. I'm not going to waste 200g of tobacco to "break in" my hose... They should've said something about it on the website (will make shisha taste like shit for up to ten sessions).

It could be the best damn hose in the world and I still wouldn't sit through 10 painful smokes to "break it in". It's a horrible product and I'm sending mine back.

im impressed with the fact that it does increase the smoke thickness and amount....also the easy draw but i woodnt hav bought it knowing that it wood take that long to get rid of the nasty flavor and start enjoying the shisha fruity flavors.....

any tips on hoses.....better ones...

how old is your tobacco? how do you store it? I've had the same problems with a lot of tobacco that I haven't smoked in days, smokes fine but zero flavor. Also, sometimes I get used to smoking the same flavors all the time, try a new brand new flavor. If your tobacco is brand new then I think the only problem is your taste buds. In this case, try putting like 8 pieces of big red gum into your mouth and chewing them for like 4 hours--I did this once and I couldn't taste anything for like 5 days, but everything tasted so much better after, it was worth it.
