Acclimatizing

Recommended Posts

Yep, Tangiers is known for flooring people who aren't hookah kings and the like.

Remember that the nicotine content on labels is decieving too. Tangiers is said to be .3% and others can say .5% . In reality, the exact content is pretty much unknown.

Tangiers Lucid on the other hand has about the same amount of nicotine as AF.

Nicotine is tough to gauge considering the variables in place. The duration of the smoke, time inbetween puffs, duration of the puff, the list goes on.

Sometimes people get more buzzed smoking starbuzz than AF?!?! I've seen it.

Nicotine is hygroscopic. If a compound is hygroscopic, it means that the compound will attract water molocules to itself.

Then comes acclimation. The shisha which contains nicotine needs to adjust to its surroundings. Ever heard of humidity (amount of water vapor in the air) shock concerning Tangiers? Just like a musician running scales before a show, it needs to "warm up/adjust" to perform at 100%. Failure to do so with result in a lack luster smoke.

Since when does nicotine require acclimation? Man, the pseudoscience just multiplies.

So is glycerin, and a number of other components present in both unwashed and washed tobacco. Big whoop.

Now this is some intellectual cock-waving that I would -ing PAY to watch.

The main reason I think it's nicotine is because Tangiers is molasses based, as opposed to glycerin/other stuff that makes his tobacco.

Also, people seem to get the biggest buzz from Tangiers compared to other brands.
