Scalliwag
I probably am not posting this in the right place but hopefully it is okay. I am looking for property in the northern part of New Mexico and I found out that it is a non-disclosure state... meaning realtors and sellers can leave a lot of details out of descriptions, etc. Basically I want some cheap remote land I can build on over the next 10 or so years. If there are any members that live in the area that I can run some questions by and/or have some useful connections or info I would appreciate it. That area is so gorgeous and a great place to kick back with a hookah under the stars. At 700 miles away it is a bit hard to research though. HKJON
There is very nice mountain property in the Jemez area. Check out this website www.ronbrownrealty.com He know a lot about the property in this area. Own some myself and it is great for smoking hookah under the stars. SimplexCoda
Ya there is a lot of very nice property in the northern part of the state, but the problem is that Ted Turner ( the douche that owns turner media) bought up A TON of it and wont get off it. Scalliwag
well if you see him, smack him in the head for me and tell him to ungrip some of it! I will probably buy something low end and setup a good enough place to vacation and then spend a couple of weeks at a time getting to know the locals and building some connections. maybe even a treehouse that doubles as a hunting blind for starters. At least it seems like a practical plan for the time being. It would be comfortable enough to enjoy the hookah and do some grilling I have seen some pictures around Jemez Springs that look ideal. That is ironic!!! I saw a Youtube video a few days ago of people cliff diving.... well they said "diving" but they were jumping from about 50 feet. The place looked gorgeous so I have been looking at pics and all I can find of that area. Do you know anything about Ron Brown or heard his reputation? I am always leery of realtors and car salesfolks. There are good ones but the bad ones really make for tough times ya know?
