mathuv
when you order something from outside the EU, do you end up paying taxes for it? is the package ever delivered without going through customs first? (and thus avoiding taxes). would appreciate your replies.
shisha fan
i think that depends on how strict the customs in your country are. i have ordered from outside the EU plenty of times and only had to pay taxes once (15 euros for 250 euros worth of computer parts). mathuv
heh. cool. i just read the document regarding customs on gifts outside the EU and it said 3.5% of the value of goods. does that sound good?
shisha fan
yeah that sounds good. even if your package gets picked out by customs you don`t have to worry about paying a fortune in taxes. some canadian people on this forum got screwed over by customs and they had to pay like 350% the value of the goods.
