Hose And Tar

Well today i was having a little session with a friend which wasn't too great as we were getting small pieces of "coal" we thought in our mouths every so often. So later I decided to run water through it and like 1 cup full of tar came out as i blew in then I realised it had been like a month since I done it! But really made me think the amount of tar in my lungs right now

Blow it out yes. But if you have a washable hos, like a Mya washable, maybe you should clean it out with water every session. That's what i do.
And damn.. that is alot of tar for 1 body...

As i said i did put water through it as blowing in it bare didnt do much! So have i damaged it now ? but i coudnt see any other way to remove it

Edit: Also i dont inhale it down to the lungs so i guess it wont be that much there (thats the hope atleast) Edited August 31, 2007 by adeel

Well i don;t think non-washable hoses should have water put through them... Haha but i've never done it before! I think next time you smoke and theres no funky leather taste or anything, yor hose is fine! Everything needs to be spring cleaned once in a while..

Its not tar...I think its more likely to be rust from the metal wires inside your hose. If you run water through them, thats what will happen.
