I think that is a pretty sweet deal for some one who just wants a little taste of every thing instead of getting suckerd into buying 250gm of something i realy thought might of been good. Mathazar Posted May 26, 2005 Share Posted May 26, 2005 They're supposed to release 3 new flavors each month until they reach 20. Quality control was an issue in the past, I hope it's worked-out also. I can hardly wait to taste the Jamaican Rum, but I'm not going to set myself up for disappointment by setting my expectations too high. wyteboy made a comment in his review of Romman Peach that he exepted the flavor to BLAST him in the face. What I've come to realize through all my taste-testing is that no company's flavors actually "BLAST" you in the face. All the flavors I've tasted and liked came off kind of subtle in taste but were very pleasant flavor.......like Romman Peach. The HookahHookah stuff will arrive tomorrow, so I'll fill you guys in when I review it. I'll be reviving my "HookahHookah Flavor Reviews" thread to review it. hookaman Posted May 26, 2005 Share Posted May 26, 2005 hey you guys, sorry that im going off topic but, about the new al amir line of tobacco, someone said that they were supposed to revamp the flavors and make them stronger and better tasting. has anyone recently tried the new al amir flavors like watermelon? Im asking because the store near my house recently got many watermelon flavors except for cherry(the one i actually went to buy). What else is worth buying. In the past I would have to say that Al-Amir SUCKED MAJOR LEAGUE!!! But, just out of curiosity, I'd like to read some satisfying reviews. I doubt I'll ever buy the stuff again, though. I just can't imagine that a company that knowingly puts out a flavorless product is going to NOW redeem themselves by adding FLAVOR? wyteboy Posted May 26, 2005 Share Posted May 26, 2005 I think a lot of AFs flavors are very strong flavors, a ton of flavor in the Grape and the cherry, as well as both of the liked Fumaris...I am excited to resmoke the Romman later this week, I think I was just expecting something different so I am excited now that I know to try it later and hopefully enjoy it more! Mathazar Posted May 26, 2005 Share Posted May 26, 2005 Well, I respect that wyteboy, but the truth of the matter is, IMO, you probably won't like it if you didn't like it the first time. There are flavors out there that I SWORE I'd never buy again, but I kept on buying them hoping that something would spark my interest in them. Some of those flavors I still buy and some I do not. It took me a LONG time before I could admit to myself that Romman Peach was actually quite good. Like I said, it's an acquired taste, you have to smoke a lot of it to really appreciate it's fine value, unlike some other flavors that just GRAB your interest the first time. You don't have to tell me you like it just because I sent it to you, I respect honesty, and that's what makes your reviews so readable......BAREBONES HONESTY!!!
