fruit heads

just got some new al fakher melon and lookin forward to it.....does anyone use fruit for the head instead of the clay bowls? does it make it any sweeter?

Im my past experiences it has been more of a pain to do. You have to
hallo the fruit out, put some sort of screen on the bottom to ensure
that the tabacco does not fall out, its very messy and there are some
problems with sealing the fruit to the neck of the hookah.  Also
you tend to need more coals because the the fruit juices.

Try it out if you like and you may find an easier method but its not worth it for me.
