  1. I did this earlier and learned some interesting things from it. My table was a solid wood piece on top, so I drilled a hole for the head to come through only, it was the perfect height. I drilled 2 holes on either side of the table, so I could plug the hoses into the table to smoke. I ripped apart 2 hoses and took the piece that goes into the hookah and ran 1/2" tubing from it and put it through the 2 holes in the table. Now it looks like my hoses are just plugged into the table, people think it's wild.
  2. If you can find a base like the one you have in the picture, you can find all of the parts you need at your local "tobacco" shop. Get a glass diffuser that will fit into the top nice and go just about to the bottom of the base. They make massive bowls that will then fit into your diffuser, you can probably find a really nice looking one. Glass on glass makes the best seal you can get. For hoses, they also make glass fitting ones that are used with vaporisers, so maybe your guy can put some fittings in the side of your base, then you will have a badass hookah.
  3. Read up about oil companies. The people that figured it out more than the average person got paid by the oil companies to never talk about it...
  4. Right now all a hydrogen booster does is allow you to lean out your fuel mixture, then burn the smaller amount completely. This means better gas mileage. A water powered car would burn just hydrogen and oxygen since both are products of the electrolysis, but if you did that it would take mad batteries to keep up, or a better way of splitting the water up.
  5. Haha voski....I used to think that same thing. People would be doing it right now if the alternator really could keep up with the current draw of your booster. It doesn't work, you would have to add more batteries, or add another way of charging them at the same time such as how hybrids batteries get recharged when they brake.
  6. You can run it completely on water for a little while, but it is not possible to do it forever. You would have to keep recharging your battery because the power you get from combusting hydrogen is less than the power it takes to produce the gas.
  7. Well, I had one that was mounted inside of a wooden frame that worked. Problem was it would start to burn wood after it was on for more than 10 minutes. It did work at 1.6 amps with 35 guage wire. Forgot how much actual wire I used, but you can figure it out with 1.6 = 120/x. The wire was in 2 grids above the tobacco, this seemed to work better. But now I have moved on to hydrogen boosters for cars, so if any of you are interested in getting some solid gas mileage let me know. 8. Anyone looking to sell their small or medium funnel by paypal? I can't find any websites selling them that will accept paypal. Thanks
  9. Pretty sure the only reason glass would be better is because of glass on glass seal. So as long as you won't be using it for the seal, tobacco is prob better.
  10. Couldn't you just have the stem split in 4 directions of equal length pipe and just diffuse each of the 4 "new" stems? Technically should split the air up 4 ways meaning more smoke hits water.
  11. I'm sure his worked. That's an intense hookah. I have one that works now but it is enclosed in wood and the wood starts to burn. So once I find something else to use that won't burn all should be well, any ideas? If you guys still don't believe and want to see wood/tobacco burning, let me know hah.
  12. Hah, well think what you want. You obviously do not understand the chart I have given you on nichrome, or you just havn't tried it for yourself and seen that it really does work. Go back to the chart big cat and figure it out.
  13. I don't see how you still think it isn't possible. When I get around to it, I will mount my ghetto shit into something and show you guys. Right now I have a piece of wood with nails in it, and the nichrome making a grid around the nails. It works if you do it right...this beast glows red and remains at a constant temperature.
