  1. I used them when I lived in Saudi Arabia last year...now I can't seem to put my hands on them in the States!! Best coals I've ever used!
  2. Anyone know where I can get these coals in the U.S.? I used Cococha's when I was stationed in Saudi Arabia but I can't seem to find a U.S. site that sells them. I can't smoke with quicklites much longer....
  3. QUOTE (SafeSearchOff @ Oct 9 2007, 04:01 AM) i agree. my friend jsut started smoking hookah, we've been going ot the bar every week, sometimes twice a week. last night he says to me "this isn't that bad for you, is it?" i immediately thought of this thread and i just replied "smoking is smoking, dude. its marginally better than cigs, but thats because we dont smoke as often." he just said "oh... fuck it." and took a big draw. its a lifestyle choice... We all gonna die and turn to dust one day either by smoking or getting hit by a bus...might as well enjoy what life has to offer -Ben

We'll be here all week week shooting a pilot for a travel show. Hey Newsman, Sorry I couldn't get a hold of you while you were here in Munich. Hoped you had a good time here. Did you check out any of the hookah places? Oktoberfest is crazy!! just a couple more days of it! -Benji
  5. QUOTE (newsman @ Sep 20 2007, 08:20 PM) QUOTE (Benji @ Sep 19 2007, 09:09 PM) ... but then oktoberfest....girls in dirndls...what more can you ask for?! Hookah? Thanks for the tips Benji. I take it you've spent a little time in Germany. Actually I am living in Munich right now. I been here for a little over a year. Last years Oktoberfest was crazy, I am looking forward to this years oktoberfest! Tons of parties, beer, and girls! -Benji
  6. QUOTE (newsman @ Sep 19 2007, 05:17 PM) The title says it all. I'm leaving tomorrow for a beer soaked week at Octoberfest, so if anybody knows of any lounges in Munich and wants to share, I'll be a very happy traveller. There are a ton of hookah bars in Munich, especially along LeopoldStr. Theres a place called The Green Room right below Tijuana's on LeopoldStr. near a Mcdonalds. Check out Toy Town Munich website, its all you need to know about munich in English. -Benji Edit: Also check out Mocca, has more of the "Arabian Nights" feeling, its just another 5-8 mins walk from The Green Room. Plus...there are tons of clubs in Munich, but then oktoberfest....girls in dirndls...what more can you ask for?!
  7. QUOTE (iamscott06 @ Aug 30 2007, 10:46 PM) Actually i think there is a hookah magazine.. not an actual magazine that you can buy at the store but something like a hookah online newsletter thing... BUT.. i forget the name lol sorry. But i do agree someone needs to start one of those things up big TIme. You mean Inside Hookah - Online Hookah Lifestyle Magazine...it wont let me post the link but go ahead and google it. -Benji
  8. QUOTE (SeamrogHookah @ Aug 24 2007, 03:54 AM) QUOTE (Benji @ Aug 23 2007, 06:51 PM) What type of coal do you use? I use 40mm quicklites broken into quarters and place them on a standard clay bowl in a square formation with a wind cover. i use the same but not broken just one kinda in the middle of the bowl I had the same problem when I didn't break up the coal; or it might just be me. But try breaking up the coal and spreading them around the bowl. You'll get a better heat source. The duration of the coal seems to last a little less then a whole one but once the broken peices are done I just throw another unbroken coal on there - I get a little lazy to break up the 2nd one

  11. I like hookah-shisha; they give you a ton of freebies when you order one of their hookahs!! -Benji
  12. QUOTE (barrenwizard @ Aug 13 2007, 06:44 AM) You just did what to your hose? Run water trough it? I did that and now I'm smoking RUST. I didn't know that there's metallic stuff in there. I have the same mini Mya that came with my large order form H/S and I wash the hose that came with it atleast 30-40 times with just warm water and it smokes just fine. I use a push pin to make a bunch of tiny holes with one 40mm Golden quicklite broken into 4 peices with a wind cover and ice/water mix. Try sprinkling the tobacco into the bowl about 1/8 below the rim without packing it down; the mya bowl seems to be a bit deep. 1 layer of foil works just fine for me. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b353/bpn...-08-07_2320.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b353/bpn...-08-07_2321.jpg -Benji
  13. QUOTE (Mapexdrumboi @ Aug 8 2007, 11:13 PM) Those hoses are ill! But i hope they aint real snake skin lol! I think they are fake...but then again I might be worng, I got to get some more info from the vendor
  14. QUOTE (blueyesopn @ Aug 8 2007, 11:17 PM) that is nice, and i do like it alot. how much was it and how does it smoke? The hookah was 79 Euro ($109.00) and the hoses were 13,99 Euro ($19.30) each. I havent smoked her yet, I'm going to wait till I get some friends over another time first; its pretty late over here right now and I got work in the morning -Benji
  15. Hello! I'm still new to the whole hookah world but can someone tell me what kind of hookah it is? I bought it off this German website (minus the tangier's phunnel bowl) http://www.wasserpfeifentraumland.de/ becasue I smoked the same one at a local hookah bar and I fell in love with it The cobra hoses are fully washable too! I havent had a chance to smoke her yet but I'll let you guys know how it goes... http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b353/bpn...86/DSC05204.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b353/bpn...86/DSC05202.jpg And a close up of the hose! http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b353/bpn...86/DSC05201.jpg -Benji
