I have the 'ice torrent' from hookah-shisha which has the ice bucket mod as standard - i noticed you need to use a lot more heat to get the same amount of smoke which kind of null's the whole point for me. I find it much more enjoyable to ice the base or use no ice at all - and the ice bucket is said to rust if not cleaned and dried after every use (i wouldnt know cause i clean mine)

Romman is unwashed tobacco so it has 0.5% nicotine compared to the washed stuff with 0.05% so you will get buzz heavier and quicker than normal. If it's not heat it could be the amount you inhale, i have found Romman isnt a real strong flavour and is more subtle than other tobaccos so maybe your buds just arn't picking it up, try some Al Fakher and see what kind of difference it makes
