Okay, to start, sorry if this is a repeat post but I just found a video for these guys today and let me say...holy cow.   I'm not quite sure what to think about this product. I suppose for the purpose they're selling it for it does seem ideal, no coals, no shisha, no mess! I suppose that's a club owners dream but in reality I'm sure it's probably not as great as the real deal.    But I'm curious, has anyone seen one of these or tried one?   Below is a link:   https://www.blowhookah.com  

Hey y'all!   It's Kristal from Rapid City, SD. My new husband (ih303) and I just moved to Provo, Ut to find their really is NO hookah culture here. Anyhow, I'm back on the forums hoping to share my experience and knowledge on hookah and possibly meet someone who lives near me to smoke with.   BYE!

I personally have a hard time believing any sort of study that's funded by an "anti-smoking" organization or "cancer prevention" organization. Not saying they're bad groups but I think they'd be a little more biased.  If the study were to show more scientific evidence such as the type of chemical and what not, then maybe I'd take it into consideration.

I flew from Rapid City, SD to Salt Lake, Ut a few months ago. I packed my Mya Qt to take with me. I just wrapped the base in a towel, and packed everything else in between shirts, jeans, etc so they wouldn't get damaged. Worked just fine. I was worried about them checking my back and thinking it was a bong or something. They didn't say anything but I also don't think they went through my stuff since I was only going a few states away. I would say just clean it really well, drug dogs won't pick up anything on it if you've only smoked tobacco out of it.  You'll be fine!

I'm not too bad at packing a phunnel with Noir. Keep in mind, where I live most Noir flavors don't work, only the kashmir ones do, but since I work at a lounge I usually pack the bottom half of the bowl fairly tight, then go back over it with another layer of tobacco to where it's above the rim of the bowl. Then I put one foil on it and compress it so it lays flat. THEN i put a SECOND piece of foil on. I find this usually helps with the burn at first since it seems to be the syrup burning initally. For my hole pattern, I do the whole top of the bowl starting from the outside using a corn cob holder thingy working my way towards the center of the bowl. hopefully this works for someone and ya'll don't think i'm crazy or something.

I do have shortness of breath. That's pretty typical. Perhaps I will just have someone start the hookahs for me. But then I run into the issue of busy nights the lounge gets a little smokey. Oh well.

[/quote] maybe you're allergic to South Dakota! honestly, i was just thinking of excuses so you wouldn't have to quit smoking hookah...ha!! if you smoke daily, i'd really consider taking a break...maybe just give your throat/lungs/whatever time to recover....you never know, they may end up stronger than before!! Yeah, considering I work at the lounge my boyfriend owns, I'd really hate to quit my job because of my health, but I gotta do what I need to in order to stay healthy. Sucks so bad!

The 411: I'm an ex-cigarette smoker of a few years. Started back when I was about 16 or so, smoking a pack every couple of days. Eventually, I started noticing that I would get an extreme cough in the spring, fall and winter seasons. I finally went to a doctor and got diagnosed with CH bronchitis. It's been a little over a year now since I've quit smoking cigarettes, however I continue to smoke hookah. I notice my lungs don't feel as heavy since I've stopped smoking cigarettes, but I continue to get the bad coughing during the seasons. My question is, could this be due to the fact that I still smoke hookah? I'm sure it's not helping, but I figured with hookah not being as extreme and nasty as cigarettes, perhaps my cough wouldn't be as bad or even go away. I think my only solution to ending my cough for good is to quit smoking hookah altogether. Which......SUCKS! Ideas?

Anyone else have experience with Nammor hookahs? There's a couple at another place in town here and they only care a few hookahs at a time, but I saw a few nammors and were curious about them now.
