  1. Mushishi was good yeah, beautiful artwork. And kind of refreshing that it was so episodical. Too short however tho. Anyone seen Porco Rosso? Haven't gotten around to it yet you see. Any thoughts on it?
  2. Being diplomatic I would say that he certainly sounds like a colourfull individual that can bring life to any discussion. Being honest however, I would say he sounds like a right gimboyd.
  3. I generally can't stand English dubs just because they... kinda don't fit in there. I don't speak Japanese it's just that I've never really come across a good dub. For reference: DBZ. Oh and I got another kickass series btw. It's a mecha-series but still good. It's called Code Geass: Lelouch of the rebellion (Hangyaku no Lelouch). You'll find it here: www.boxtorrents.com. They have most anime fansub torrents, except for the licenced ones like DBZ etc. Anyways I strongly reccomend watching Code Geass. I still don't like mecha-series, but that show is pure awesome.
  4. Adding my 2 cents here. Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid is prolly one of the funniest series I have ever watched. Also a series called Yakitate Japan is incredibly good. The story is basically about this little kid who wants to be the inventor of "the Japanese bread", and enters bread baking competitions etc. Yeeeah it does sound a bit off, but that's one hell of a show. Also, the ending theme for the 2nd season is one of the catchiest tunes ever made. Trying to come up with more movies, but only really watch series so. If you liked Princess Monoke then maybe Samurai Deeper Kyo? Or then Samurai Champloo is a damn good series. Now, if they could only make a proper anime out of the Lone Wolf and Cub series... Oh yes one more thing: Stay the hell away from a show called Berserk. Yes, it's good, but the anime cuts the story short and the ending will have you either crying or ripping apart furniture out of sheer frustration.
  5. Harmless Big Cloud? or even Hoooooly F***? Slogan: Put that in your peace pipe and smoke it.
  6. C) Haven't seen it, but gonna give it a shot if I come across it
  7. QUOTE (Kathrynx @ Feb 17 2009, 01:29 PM) Just tried to download it..."Not available in my area" (Japan) So without Europe, Africa and Asia their "worldwide" release is really just the US then? And Australia I suppose, God forbid they forget about an island of exiled convicts...
  8. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. I hate XBOX Live. Okay sorry just really had to get that out of my system. I dunno if it is the rumored male full frontal nudity or the bit about blowing up cops that upset M$, but it's not possible to download the new DLC for GTA IV here.. Of course, they didn't tell me that until after I had sprung for the XBOX live credits, the cheap smegheads.. Could someone else confirm if this is the same all over Europe? I know that it's not possible to get it here or in Greece, but how about you brits out there? If so I might just find myself some cheap airplane tickets and take my 360 on a roadtrip, because goddammit I'm getting this game! /rant
  9. I got some of those containers a few days back that were 500ml and loaded 'em up with 250g shisha without problems. Could prolly add another 100g as well, but I like to have room to properly stir the shisha up. Sorry about the metric measurements
  10. Thanks for all the replies, gonna try to work some magic later on now. Thinking about adding a scalli mod as well using a tea light Btw that Nammor... Damn that's one hell of a fat hose. At first I thought I had too little water because i couldn't hear the bubbles going at all. Then I realized I had a few lungfulls of smoke that had just been in the hose >.< Anyways will post later on the success/faliure of my first proper phunnel run
  11. Okay so I finally got my QT, nammor and phunnel today, and I wanna get this stuff down properly. Got some friends coming over and we're gonna smoke some of the Romman that came with the hookah (ordered from H-S). Now I'd usually just do the whole trial and error thing, but I figure that atleast 50% of you have the pipe, so might as well ask a few questions. Firstly, how much water is good for the QT? I use a bit over 400ml, since I read somewhere that around 4 oz. seems good for the pipe. Secondly, can the QT even handle a medium phunnel? I mean, the damn phunnel is the same height as the base Thirdly, I have gotten a diffuser as well, figured I might check it out, but does it really work well with the QT since it's so small? Same question goes for the nammor as well I guess, seems rather big for such a small pipe Okay that's about it, hope someone out there can answer a few of my questions^^
  12. I think the problem is just as much in the word herbal.. "I smoke herbal shisha out of my hookah." Methinks that comment might have gotten ye warned for an NHT related comment before the herbal shisha hit the market.
  13. Just gonna throw one out there, Opera, the great Norwegian web browser. I've been using it for a long time now and I just love it. Also you gotta give em kudos for messing with the homepage of MS Explorer (when viewed through their browser), making every other word come out as bork, a tribute to the great culinary artist known as; The Swedish Chef.
  14. For a good book I usually pick up something from Paulo Cohello. Someone mentioned the Alchemist a few posts back, and that's a damn good book, and very well worth a read. Also read his book called Zahir. They might be a bit "too much" for some people, but I for one thoroughly enjoyed them both.
  15. I'd really like to answer Linux, but I'm still too much of a lazy boy to bother with it. Got it on my laptop but on my desktop I run Windows, primarily to play games. I've done the whole Mac thing for a bit, but it pissed me off that I couldn't change and upgrade components as I went along, but rather had to take whatever Apple fed me (shouldn't I feed myself apples really?). I know that Windows got tons of security faults and Vista is a crappy OS, but hell, atleast it's compatible with stuff from the start AND I can change components without any fuzz. It's not like protecting your computer is the hardest thing in the world either, as long as you care to figure out how your machine works.
