Need Opinion...?

New to the forum...first post!  I am at the point of purchasing a new hookah.  I currently have about an 18' Mya Suray acryllic base hookah.  It smokes fairly well but i want something bigger.  So as of right now im looking for a the Abyss Mod Hookah from hooka-shisha.com.  The only thing that is setting me back from my purchase is my hesitation on purchasing a hooka with grommet instead of screw on base.  So my question is...is there a difference between the two?  Does one smoke better than the other?  My friend has a really nice Mya grommet style hooka and his seems to smoke much better than mine and gives a better taste.

I reccommend you purchase a good Rotator/Spinning hookah.  Those
things are FANTASTIC.  They're big,  and the shaft screws
into the vase,  and the vase screws into the metal base,  for
easy setup and breakdown.  It's the BEST hookah I've EVER
used,  and I've had 6 hookahs sofar.  I guarantee it'll be
the BEST hookah purchase you'll ever make!!!

I bought the acrylic hookah from Hookah-Shisha,  and it was SO
cheaply-constructed,  that I almost threw the damn thing
out. But,  I figured it would make a decent travel
hookah because it was so small.

Don't buy the acrylic hookah,  buy a Rotator

Well the acrylic I have is a MYA acrylic and its a great little hookah.
Its actually my friend sbut he leave sit at my house, and its the
hookah I smoke out of most because everything is air tight, its
stainless steal( supposedly) and the metal seems heavy and Its the ONLY
Hookah I havent broken yet. ALl my otehr hookahs have broke, my sultan,
my rotator, and my otehr friends hookah just tastes weird no matte rhow
clean you get it. The mod hookah smoke sthe best.  My rotator was
a great hookah untill it die don me. But while it was alive, it smoked
great, and the practicality of the rotating base is very usefull.
No  hose tangles which can knock over a hookah. It automatically
spins when you pass the hose due to the weight of the hose pulling on
the hose plug.  If you really want a mod, get a mod. Theyre great
in my experience, and they last a long time. Im sure peopel have had
problems with it, but overall its a good hookah. ALl mods screw in I
believe. BUT the gromet hookahs are air tighttoo so it doesnt matter
what kind you get, theyll all smoke about the same.

Hey  Shishajunkie.....WTF are you doing with MY name?

The rotators are great because not only do they produce a fantastic smoke,  but set-up & breakdown is a snap!!!

Rotators are much easier than grommets because sometimes the grommet
(which is attached to the shaft) gets stuck going into the vase,
and it can be a REAL pain in the NUTS trying to get the grommet to go
in the vase.  The solution to the problem is either to wet the
grommet,  or remove it from the shaft and slip it into the vase
followed by the shaft.  If you don't mind going thru all that
extra work,  then a more traditional hookah might be more what
you're interested in

I really like my mod acrylic, but the rotator is also a nice hookah. If you want something more traditional but with the mod screw in,I would check out a glass bohemian.I feel that anytime you can do away with a vase grommet is a good thing. It's more airtight, and cleaning and breakdown are a breeze.
