My first hookah experience was at 4th avenue in Bay ridge. I smoked heavily for about an hour, and then felt lightheaded. very nice. I have tried hookah in two other places, a turkish place on coney island avenue, and an israeli place which is also a cafe. For some reason the Israeli place hookah tastes like dishwashing liquid, and I always inhale large chunks of debri, which turns out to be tobacco for some reason. I have sampled a lot of flavors, and the two I like most are apricot and apple. The others are either not flavorful or straight up disgusting. Lemon is interesting as well.
