HiI'm off the Berlin in a couple of weeks for an extremely short visit. I will definitely visit the Kreuzberg area as I will go for a Turkish meal. Does anyone know of any good shisha shops in Berlin? I imagine there's quite a few as there is a big Turkish community but any recommendations would be much appreciated. If I find anything worthwhile I will as usual post on my returnCheersRootsman

When I was there (kreuzerg) I didn't find any shisha shops right there. But a walk over the brige over the railroadtracks (and the river) I found lots of them.Freidraichain. The u-bahn stop I went past when I found atleast 3 hookah shops is frankfurter tor. I think if you go northeast from there you'll find them...somewhere. Asking for direction once there is highly recommended. Great area if you like punkclubs aswell. But those usually open after midnight.Lots of great and cheap hookah bars in kreuzberg though. Parhaps they also sell things.Otherwise just walk into the nearest hookah bar and ask them. They should know.

Do not buy german shisha, with german sentences like "rauchen tötet" (=smoking kills") on it! It only has 5% of humidity. you can hardly smoke this.in germany, you won't find good shisha as af, havana and so on ... maybe nakhla in turkish shops. maybe you'll find ALFAKHER, written together (not al fakher), but this isn't the real AF.

The hookah shops must know where to get good shisha as the hookahs I smoked where was wonderful. Then again maybe I just was lucky.
