Mine go black underneath but it never has added a bad flavor. Could be an underpacked bowl.

One word: Durability.

Im almost positive it used to be the first flavor you could buy besides tombek. That makes it special to alot of people. Also in most of the middle east if you are not smoking tombek you are smoking DA. In really old school lounges all they carry is tombek and DA.

Im sure you have heard people over exaggerate the words "what" and "okay", well they got that from him. kinda funny actually that they would use him as a spokesperson.

I use natural coals too, big 40 pound bag from smart & final, been doing it that way for years. But when it comes to tangiers I use coco's just because its easier to manage the temp. everything else gets the lump stuff.

I rarely use my glass. I wouldnt say that I regret buying it, but it hardly gets any use and is a bitch to clean sometimes. the tangiers is great, I would say get that.

I highly recommend going to erics place while you are there.

Hope you dont mind some constructive criticism. -I noticed was you pack it leaf by leaf. Im not positive but I think you had it on fast forward to save time. I have never noticed a difference if it takes 5 minutes or 30 seconds to pack the bowl just as long you flake it in there and evenly distribute it. -Also I would never recommend putting a QL coal directly on the bowl while its lighting. Gives it a horrible taste. Thanks for the vid though.

108ct boxes are where its at : ). but not a bad price for the size actually.

I just use a scotch brite and takes off pretty much everything. cleaning after every session helps to keep the build up low.

KM hoses are my preference, but as far as flexibility they are probably equal to nammor.
