I often use freshly sqeezed orange or lemon juice especially with citrus flavoured shisha, I find it adds extra depth to the flavour

I laways do this, I love lemon, lime and orange shisha, so i just go out to my back yard, pick one of the corresponding fruits and squeeze the juice in and then put the whole fruit in the vase. It adds a nice extra burst of flavour.

So I've been trying to find some decent coals here in Australia. No one supplies coconaras and it's too expensive to import coconaras etc. Well today I was visiting this little Lebanese bakery that I was told i could get good natural coals cheap from and I discovered a brand that has a new line they are called Alalali. Now they were reviewd on here years ago but I rang the supplier in Sydney to confirm they were natural and he said defiantely as they were made from coconut only. So for only $5 for 600gm they freakin rock, there are 27, 1inch cubes/box. No smoke, no pops or hisses, they stay alight for almost 90 minutes and no affect on taste whatsoever. So all you Aussie smokers out there, this product is a winner.

I carted mine from Egypt through Europe and back to Australia, the only thing they picked me up on were the tongs, apparently they are deemed a security risk. I had no issues with coals, shisha etc.

I thought Australia banned hookah sales because they considered them drug paraphernalia. Or at least personal importing of them.....or maybe it was new Zealand?? You can buy them in some states and you can import them. The main issue is the cost of shisha we pay an insane $400/kg tax on tobacco, Australia is an idiotic nanny state on some issues. But the acclimation worked a treat, many thanks to you all for your help.

I have double foil on a tightly packed vortex using 3 pieces of extruded natural coals, unfortunately Australia is the country time forgot so we can't get coconaras or any coconut coal down hear, anyway I digress gain. That setup is my standard I've used it for years with AF, El Hennaway, AL Mazag, Afzal and regular Nak. But I definately need to acclimatise chocomint as earlier mentioned otherwise the mint kills the chocolate. I'll check out the tutorial by Mattarios2 as well. Anyway thanks for all the advice I'll try a bowl later today and report back.

I have just bought some Nak Mizo Apricot, Gum, White Grape and Watermelon and TBH it smokes like shit, except the grape, the flavours are foul and I mean almost unsmokeable. It's the first time I've used Mizo is there anything I should be doing?

Hi from Adelaide, Australia.

There are 2 that I know of in Adelaide and they are right beside each other on HIndley St. The old one is called Horus and there is a new one called Sheesha Lounge. I've never used them as I can't stomach paying $20 a bowl, but if you are a traveller in town looking for a fix then at least you have some options.
