[/quote] in little old Adelaide in south australia 250gm of af is 100 aud, and thats if u can find it, we have nothing here so i have to look online . and i did email but dont get any real information or replys....

i had a look around the only basses that will fit to my measurements are the "large bases" from hookah-shisha (http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-1027-egyptian-replacement-hookah-bases.html).. the other still are to small, my stem just fit into my original base and was super tight so the others still wont fit from hj? i still think somethings not right here lol

I might just lashout and buy one hopefully it wont be a expensive mistake, il make sure il try geting a tall one . migut measure my stem and see how long the old base would of been, thabks for the help people and i still wouldent mind to know how to work out the grommet size for future refrence

So smaller the number for the grommet/gasket means its bigger? How do u work it out so o can measure mine properly . Coz im from aus and dont want to order one and then find out its wrong. Its going to cost me enough for a whole new hookah lol

I was just about to post about grommet size, how do u work out what size it is? And yeah they usualy say there around 3.7cm my base opening is about 4.5 cm like i said b4 but they say they fit size 30 gasket so mayb it would fit i hate when theres not enough info

The opening iv got the tape mesure on it.

I did email him but the reply wasnt very helpfull supprisingly seeing as every 1 swears by him... and havt had a reply to a second in a week and a half. And i would think id need to make the gromet smaller not bigger? None of the bases that are online seem to be to small the opening not big enough thats my dilemma. And yes i lost a alien phunell in the fall

atm im using a egyptian and im packing it tight and loose trying different things but it dusnt seem to do much. and i usualy only use room temp water but i thought id try different things to see if it will help. and iv cleaned the pipe and it makes no difference. and the hose is still fine actually i only smoke once every couple of months if that im not a regular, and i will be buying a new pipe soon but it costs a arm and a leg to get 1 sent down to australia . seeing as they dont sell them here much any more . and with new laws in South australia (where i live) they dont sell anything any more that involves pipes or nht stuff

i have been having problems with trying to get any form of flavour from my shisha since from when i remember getting my own little pumpkin shisha and some tobbacos. The first time i ever had shisha i was blown away with the flavour ( i had a friends (double apple)) and i new i had to have my own. Any way I had got some 50g packs of nakhla (strawberry,peach,melon,2 applescherry) and alfakher (two apples, grape) and i even got some golden af eskandari apple seeing as every 1 raves on about it and how good the flavour is. but i cant get any form of flavour from anything, af double apple i had a slight anised taste and nak melon i got a slight hint of flavour but iv never been able to get a nice strong flavour that every 1 raves on about and what i exp that first time. its not usualy harsh smoke and do get decent clouds most of the time, so i think i have the heat management under control. the tobbaco smells like it should (tasty), exept nakhla mint used to taste ok now it has no smell and no taste. im using coconaras with a normal egyptian bowel on a little pumpkin hookah with tap water. sometimes with ice sometimes without and using a difuzer..Any ideas? i just made a order for some starbuzz so i cant wait to try that out and got a mini alien bowel to try 2. any pointers would be good Thanks, stav

same shit happened in Australia with taxes, locally it costs $110 aud for 250grams of al fakher etc thats all we can really get our hands on seeing as tobacconists here dont even stock shisha gear in south australia.
