I use this kingsford 100% charwood sometimes. Its about 6 bucks a bag and it has lasted me several months of smoking a couple bowls a week. And I always end up wasting a bunch of it cause I like to keep some lit and ready to go when the other coals go out. I can't taste ANY aftertaste and it doesn't smell when lighting on the stove. If you can find some pick you up a bag and try it. Only thing is it doesn't seem to burn as hot as coco's or actual lemonwood coals. So you have to use 3 decent size pieces for the first half of the bowl then 3 more for the last half of the bowl. I swore by this stuff at first but luckly the only place within a hours drive from me that sells hookah stuff sells 108p coconara boxes for only $5.50 a box so I have been using them lately. But anyways don't cringe at the kingsford name it wont smell or taste like the charcoal briquettes. It looks just like any other natural hookah charcoal.
lump charcoals are nice, brand is basically irrelevant. those cocos might be fake. my cousins in dallas have that shit floating around. imagine, fake cocos - here!
Well if they are fake then oh well. They work well so I'm pleased.

I am talking like 4x their normal size, had to have em drained once, dont know what the put in that stuff
Holy crap dude, remind me to stay as far away as I can from whatever you smoked. That's some serious $hit right there.
  4. I voted blue mist. Everyone that has ever smoked it with me absolutely loves it. What site did you find the good prices on? I am always looking for the cheapest starbuzz prices. I hate paying $20 for 250g.
  5. I have a MZ Sirius 28''. I really like it. It smokes nice and easy and I haven't had a problem with different bowls or hoses not fitting. Only thing I didn't like was that the rim around the hose port was sharp. I just took a file and filed it down a tad and problem solved. Overall a very nice hookah in my opinion and well worth the money.
  6.
cant use both of them.... lol... i tried..
Just tried it again and you're right, its not working anymore.
  7. I got a email from them about 2 weeks ago or so that had the coupon code ''sstobacco'' which will get you 25% off the new ss tobacco. I tried it yesterday and it worked only on SS tobacco not any others.
  8. For those wanting to try and make their own diffuser here is what I did. I have tried the straw method and the little plastic bottle with holes cut into it as well. I wasn't pleased with either of those methods. Now this may have been done before but I searched and didn't find anyone who has posted something similar to this. 1) Get a new sink screen (the kind for your kitchen sink) from walmart for like $1.20. 2) Cut the metal ring off the screen so you are left with just the flimsy piece of metal screen. 3) Take this piece of screen and fold it over the end of the stem 4) Take a piece of metal wire or string and tie it off as tight as you can onto the stem Now you have a great diffuser that wont fall off or get into the way of you taking the stem out of the base. You can easily take if off to clean your stem though. I have been using this for a couple weeks now and really like it. It doesn't effect the draw at all and makes the hookah nice and quiet if you are watching a movie.
  9. I usually do but I haven't changed it over the last 2 or 3 bowls I have smoked and I can't taste any difference. I wouldn't want to leave the water in there longer than a day or two tops. I would be afraid mold would start growing. I may just be over paranoid though.
  10. Nakhla Classic Mint, very strong minty taste. Would be the best mixing mint I believe. I just posted a review of it in the Nakhla review thread.

    Mint

Mint Hookah: MZ Sirius Bowl: Clay Hemi Screen/Foil: Reynold Heavy Duty Hose: Regular washable Coals: 100% Natural Base Liquid: Water Appearance: Short cut, sticky, brown Nicotine: 0.5% Base: Molasses Smell: Minty Taste: Strong Mint Smoke: Great Clouds Buzz: Good Duration: 1 Hour Purchased From: local shop Overall: 8/10 Would be the perfect mint to mix with another flavor for a cooling sensation. A little on the strong side by its self. You can instantly feel the mint feeling as soon as you take a draw.
  12. Signed and sent. It told me I was only the 15th person to send a email from Mississippi. I find it sad that only 15 people in this entire state took the time to do this.
  13. Yeah I would skip out on the diffuser as well. Here is what I did that works very well. Makes is real quiet for when you are watching a movie or something. Goodluck with your purchase. I think you will be happier in the long run if you wait and save up just a little bit more. You could get yourself I nice MZ hookah that will last several years for not much more. Alot of places have free shipping or online coupon codes to save a little cash.
  14.
Damn it. The QT is about $7 dollars over. Is the Econo QT just as good? It's two inches shorter than the QT's fourteen inches.
Save up $7 more bucks then get the QT. It shouldn't take you very long to save a extra $7. You will kick yourself in the ass later when you have a extra $10 laying around and you realize you could have spent that to get yourself a better hookah. Just be patient and save a little bit more. Or if you absolutely HAVE to have a hookah NOW then look online on craigslist or something similar and get a used one.
