  1. Bonjour Laronde, Not sure where to pick up AF in Montréal, but I plan on doing some "investigative shopping" next time I'm down there. Have not found a source in Québec City so far either. Unfortunately Wes, mail ordering tobacco from retailers outside Canada is very risky. At best, Customs will send you a $90 bill for a 1 lb. shipment. At worst, if it's not declared as tobacco on the shipping label, it will be seized by Customs and the recipient risks being charged for unlawful importation. Will post my findings in Montréal after my next trip. Good luck, Al
  2. Hey giant ninja robot and Brandon, Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I know there are tons of places, really just looking for recommendations on the "best of the best" since we won't have time to check out several places, unfortunately. I know the area well, just not the hookah scene per se. Will check out the detailed reviews of the places you recommended in Novi. As for the teen hangout part, well, I guess it comes with the territory... Still looking for advice / discussion from others who care to offer their opinions. Cheers, Al
  3. Hello all, My best bud and I are heading to Detroit for a Wings game and the Auto Show in mid-January. I read giant ninja robot's post on hookah shops in Dearborn, but I wasn't able to pick out where's the best lounge / cafe / bar to hang out for a couple hours. We'll probably be there late afternoon rather than evening, don't know for sure at this point. We're not looking for a "restaurant" as such (got plenty of other eateries lined up), but hookah and tea (or alcoholic beverage, if it is a bar) is just what we're looking for. Preferably someplace on the quieter side (i.e., a little Arabic music in the background is okay, but not LOUD) and an adult crowd. Any suggestions? I've been doing some searches online, there seem to be quite a few hookah places in Oakland County... would they be a better bet than Dearborn? Thanks in advance for your advice. Cheers, Al
