Just make sure next time you have a good amount of liquids and food (though everyones said that) and try and take a break... 10 minutes wouldnt have killed you and im sure the hookah wouldnt have run off during that air break! And i hope to god you werent smoking at a prince cafe down there, i like down right outside rockville md bout 15 mins for DC and those are some of the uncleanest hookahs alive unfortunatly goodluck though next time and happy smoking sir!
Thanks for the advice! Nah it wasn't one of those though lol. I go to Towson down near Baltimore lol.
Nah I can deal with unwashed. It's because of the coal that I smoked. I was smoking coal and burned tobacco for a good 25-30 minutes. In addition, I smoked most of both bowls. That would do it to anyone I think. Combined with no food or water in my system.

Did you have anything to eat before smoking?
Lol no. I was an idiot and hadn't eaten or drank anything all day.
That'll do it...plus u prob had minor CO poisoning if you smoked the majority of it for 3 hours
CO Poisoning?

 5. So my friend comes to visit me here at school in Maryland. We go to this local hookah lounge (not the best, but my hookah is at home). We first get an "interfusion" of double apple, triple apple, and mint. The lounge uses Al Amir and Al Waha tobacco in their bowls. The bowl lasted quite a long time with only the Mint being predominant. The bowl ended up getting harsh and I ended up inhaling what I'm pretty sure was mostly charcoal. We then had another bowl of Blueberry, Raspberry, and a Cranberry base. That bowl was fine, however, on both bowls I was the one smoking most of the time. We were there for 3 hours and left and went to the nearby Super Fresh for me for some groceries. We get inside the store, I tell my friend I feel sick, run outside around the side of the building annnddd POP. Yup. Puked. First time ever from smoking. Wasn't a pleasant feeling either. I felt high for about 3-4 hours after smoking. Anyone else have experiences like this or different to this?
 6. QUOTE (Sonthert @ Nov 3 2009, 10:21 PM) I authorized this. Thanks Eric for the info!
 7. Lol, I'm leaving it outside. It wont' be below freezing late november just yet, and even if it is, it wont be THAT bad. But if it really will kill the shisha, someone just tell me, lol. Otherwise, Ima listen to Arcane.
 8. QUOTE (Arcane @ Nov 3 2009, 04:58 PM) yep, i'd just put a screen or something over it to avoid having stuff fall in it.... its not so much bugs, since nicotine is an insect repellant anyways...but moreso, leaves, dust, giraffes...stuff like that... Lolol giraffes!
 9. Arcane told me in chat it shouldn't be a problem to just leave it outside. So I shall do that. Though I really don't think acclimating indoors and smoking outdoors would be that bad.
 10. QUOTE (Arcane @ Nov 3 2009, 03:46 PM) you can acclimate inside by an open window maybe....that should be good enough.... Thanks Arcane. That works.
 11. QUOTE (agstevens @ Nov 3 2009, 03:01 PM) QUOTE (DistortedTruth @ Nov 3 2009, 03:00 PM) Can anyone tell me if you can acclimate in the winter time? I'm on the east coast in Maryland Thats cool, I'm from Annapolis. Oh sick dude. Annapolis is kinda far from me though, lol.

 13. QUOTE (Hippo_Master @ Nov 3 2009, 02:28 PM) QUOTE (Zinite @ Nov 3 2009, 02:22 PM) It might be worth trying to acclimate it inside even if you're going to smoke it outside. I know that people say to acclimate it where you smoke, but I haven't had trouble acclimating it inside and smoking it outside. I have had opposite results, I tried acclimating in the house and smoking outside - the smoke was whispy but the flavor was strong, and I couldn't take large pulls because of the bite. I then tried acclimating outside, smoking outside, but that failed miserably! Try out the inside/outside method, it may work for you! Ugh. Damn you winter...giving me all these problems. I can't smoke inside...at all. Its prohibited, lol.

I know that people say to acclimate it where you smoke, but I haven't had trouble acclimating it inside and smoking it outside. That may work. I just have to find a place I can put it in the house so that the smell won't circulate all throughout it. It gives my mom a headache, lol. Ideas? Maybe put it next to my basement door with the door cracked open slightly?
 15. QUOTE (Hippo_Master @ Nov 3 2009, 01:53 PM) QUOTE (DistortedTruth @ Nov 3 2009, 01:08 PM) Okay, so I know a lot of my posts are about acclimation, lol. But I just got OG Tangiers Orange Soda from my g/f (yes, she's that awesome), and I've only smoked Lucid before. I'm wondering if you can acclimate outside in the cold, like during the late Fall/Winter time. I don't want to just acclimate a bowl because I don't know when I will smoke it. Is it possible to put all 250g in a container and acclimate it outside during the day time, or even overnight? Help pleaseeeee...so excited, but don't want to ruin this one! Oh, and speaking of OG Tangiers...does it really knock you on your ass the first time around? It sucks and only work in the house of you have climate control, but even then it's hard. When a storm comes and the humidity goes crazy it causes serious problems, and it's impossible to smoke during snowstorms. Being inside gives you a bit of leeway when it comes to acclimation. You would have to smoke inside too, of course. My parents dont allow me to smoke in the house, so that's a no no . Is it possible to acclimate Tangiers outside in the cold without killing the tobacco at all?
