  1. I've had one of the free mini myas that hookahshisha gives out for a while now, I keep it my trunk as a travel hookah. It's a great smoke, the only thing that bothers me is the base. Not only does it not look as nice as it could, the whole hookah feels kind of top heavy. In any case I've been browsing around for a replacement. So far this pyramid base caught my eye, specifically the black and silver on the right. As far as I can tell it should fit. My only worry with this one is that the silver might rub off really easily, especially given the bit of a beating that any travel hookah endures. 2. Passion fruit is okay... the worst tangiers I've had is easily marigold. I've had the same container of that for years, every once in a while i try mixing it with something but always wind up regretting it.
  3. thank you all for the input! those metal tips on hookah company look nice, I assume they can attach to pretty much any hose with a removable head? Do you have any pictures of what they look like in action? The ninja hose is pretty cool, though I'm not huge on the mya print that's easy enough to cover up. How is the airflow? I don't think I've ever smoked a leather hose, what do they look like? My hose looks exactly like this one: http://www.southsmoke.com/pd_long_handle_washable_hose.cfm They say that it's made out of leather, but mine certainly isn't. I got it from social smoke three or four years ago, I think they said it was mya at the time.
  4. I'm looking to pick up a new hose, but am not sure which to get. I have been happy with my long handle washable, though some have suggested that it may not be as washable as it says. In any case I'm looking for a hose of similar length with a metal mouthpiece that is both for-sure washable and has a removable handle (mine doesn't, but I've seen nearly identical hoses that do). I'm also curious about which has the best bore of the various metal hoses; while I love the pull on the plastic ones I don't enjoy smoking them as much. Any suggestions?
  5. I'm trying to replace the hose for my mya, but their website is confusing me. I know that what I want is a brown cloisonne hose, but there three different versions available, each with a different picture. Within the pictures they all look similar enough, but the resolution is small enough that it's hard to tell for sure. first there's "CLOISONNE LEATHER HOSE" at $18. The best deal, but it makes me think there must be a catch. then there's "MYA CLOISONNE HOSE" at $25 and "MYA Cloisonne Hose" also at $25 but marked down from $30. Is this some sort of strange marketing gimmick? I don't want to pay more than I need to, but I also don't want to buy an older version of the hose if they've since upgraded. http://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EPARTMENT_ID=36 http://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EPARTMENT_ID=36 http://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EPARTMENT_ID=36 http://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EPARTMENT_ID=36
