I thought this would be a cool idea to find out what everybody does.I work at a golf course full time doing maintenance. Don't know what I will be doing once the snow falls though. jellywerker 0 Posted July 27, 2009 I paint. Houses, small commercial buildings, apartment complexes, interiors, prettymuch everything except really big buildings. The pay is alright and it's both a good working environment (I lucked into working with a really cool group of guys) and also a good skill to have for future use. Zyram 0 Posted July 28, 2009 Well, currently I do golf course maintenance work as well! Although it's my Grandfathers course and it's in Texas so we're open year round. I was doing tech support for a cable/internet provider, lost that job in Jan when the economy started to tank though. I've taught 7th grade Texas History in the past as well, I'm about to go back to college to get a masters in Computer Information Systems, I'll probly focus on network security and web development, those two areas still seem to be a good bet as far as IT goes.
