1. Did an exchange with Dave, Nahkla for AF. We both sent more than we originally agreed on. Dave shipped his stuff on a Friday and I got it on either Monday or Tuesday (i don't recall off the top of my head). My stuff got shipped out on Monday and he received it today (7-21-11). Great guy and an excellent seller/trader. I'd sell/trade with him again with zero hesitation.
2. Bought 200 grams of AF Bahrainin apple from Squidget. Sent the money order on 7-11 and the shisha was shipped on the 18th. Not saying that's an issue, but I would've liked to know that she was going to wait to ship out the AF until she got the money order.

It smelled like a Red Bull or Monster energy drink Taste: Again, the taste was true to it's name. It was like I was smoking an energy drink. Smoke: Clouds were weak, to be honest. Overall: I'll be honest with you, this stuff let me down. The flavor was spot on, tasted like an energy drink. But.... that might not be a good thing. It's one of those flavors that's good in drink form, but it might not necessarily be a flavor you might not want to smoke. 6 out of 10.

The mint flavor was mellow enough that I was able to taste the actual mint flavor but it was also strong enough for me to get a slight cooling sensation. Smoke: Huge clouds Buzz: Light buzz Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes Purchased From: Hookah-Shisha.com about a month ago. Overall: I really liked this stuff. I've heard great things about AF Mint for a long time and I can see why. All the other mint flavors I've tried were too intense. This stuff was balanced quite well and I didn't get the "LOL UR LUNGS R FROZEN!!!1" taste. I'll be buying more AF Mint shisha as well as other AF mint mixes. 9 out of 10.
5. I'd just buy a new hookah. If it's something you stick with, then I'd refurbish the old ones you found. Here's a limited selection of what's out there: http://www.hookah-shisha.com/c-2-hookahs-hookah-pipes.html Welcome to the forum!
6. Back in 2008 or 9 I was cleaning out the trunk of my car. Found a jar of Smiley's Naughty Cow flavor, which apparently was a mix of all the flavors. Last time I smoked it was back in 2006. Wasn't too bad, actually.
7. It was a tie between Welsh Cream and Blackberry. Went with Welsh Cream in the end. Going to buy both at the same time, though.
8. Two good Tangiers flavors that haven't been listed yet: F-Line Orange Soda and Old School Watermelon.
9. One of my favorite Czech dishes is Jitternice. Basically, it's made from an entire hog (except the bones and eyes, not sure about the brain), ground up and put in hog casing. Once cooked, the casing is ruptured and the ground pork is squeezed out. Love that stuff. Dobré jídlo! Dobré pivo! Dobré časy!
10. AF Mint is as good as everyone said it was.

11. A friend of mine like to challenge each other to eating competitions. It all started back in 2009 when we went to a local steakhouse has has all you can eat prime rib on the first Friday of every month. We just went for one or two cuts of prime rib but he started talking shit, saying stuff like "Bet you can't eat another one!" When it was all said and done we each ate four 16 ounce cuts of prime rib, a side salad, a potato side (I chose french fries) and several martinis. We decided to call it a draw. He couldn't go any further, and I didn't want to sit around for another 15 minutes putting away a fifth prime rib. The next one we did was at a local HuHott restaurant. We each at four full plates of delicious Mongolian BBQ. He claimed victory simply because he ordered a side salad and had rice with each plate. The next one was at Outback Steakhouse. After the challenge we decided it was a non-event, as the quality of the food was horrible and our checks were 80 dollars each, and we ate the same amount of food. Challenge #3 was exactly one week ago at King Kong in Omaha. When we arrived he said to me "Bet you can't eat the Super Kong." The challenge was presented and accepted. Before I upload the photographs, let me tell you about King Kong. King Kong is a burger joint in Omaha with several locations in Omaha and one in Lincoln. They're well known for having large, tasty burgers as well as other selections. There are five different burgers: the Single Kong, Double Kong, Triple Kong, King Kong, and Super Kong. The King Kong has four half pound patties, and the Super Kong is identical except for the fact that it comes with onions, pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce. The Super Kongs, with a side of fries for each. My burger is the one on the left. Ten minutes into the challenge. My burger is about 3/4ths finished. My competitor is almost 1/2 of the way through. 15 minutes elapsed time. I finished my burger. He's only about half way through. I finished my order. He's still working on his. He finally threw in the towel. Elapsed time, about 25 minutes. He never even touched his fries. He's texting his supporters to tell them that he finally lost. I later commented that I've never seen such an utter and proficient defeat of a competitor before. He didn't take that very well. Our next challenge is going to be in Council Bluffs, and it's going to be sometime in August. He said that there is a pizza place there that sells a five pound calzone. Too bad he doesn't know that calzones are one of my specialties. Wish me luck! photo credits go to my friend, and his lovely wife, Shana. ETA: A lovely African-American woman there saw what was going on and said to me, "No, don't make him eat it all! Let him take it home!"

I've never seen a person with green eyes so green! The dude looks menacing!
They're either that green or he wears (or, wore) colored contacts whenever he was out in public.

14. About 12 hours. Loaded up 4 medium Phunnel bowls with Orange Soda, Cocoa, Blue Gumball, and Horchata. Each bowl lasted about three hours, give or take thirty minutes. As soon as one would burn out I'd switch it out with a new flavor. Most awesome day of smoking hookah I've ever had. I highly recommend it!

16. Growing up in the nations feed yard (Nebraska) it's pretty much impossible to avoid meat... tasty, tasty meat. I grew up on a farm/ranch and, hell, I even worked for Omaha Steaks for a short time. As I've gotten older I've begun to cut red meat from my diet, as my family has a history of colon cancer. During the work week I'll avoid red meats and stay lean, usually eating fish or chicken as a meat 'substitute'. On Friday or Saturday nights I'll indulge and have a nice porterhouse or a delicious cheeseburger. ETA: I've often flirted with the idea of going vegetarian solely for the health and dietary benefits.
17. A person should smoke their hookah because they want to. Not because they feel that they have to or because it's a habit.
