1. from my understanding through experimentation, the more holes you have the more air you get into your hookah and that makes the pull easier but if you have to much air then the smoke will be thin and not as tasty.one of the reason's I like hookah so much is the mission for the perfect bowl.
2. my conclusion.I think there is something in coal's that people with allergies are affected by.I have been fighting the headache from hookah for a while and have the worst allergies out of any one I know.I just spent the last how ever long it's been since my post above fighting a sinus headache and found that it's the natural coco nara coal's.there a nice coal but there is something in them that all other coal's have that Ive ever tried except exotic coal's that I think cause the issue for so many of us.I had a 1 bowl a day rule from this issue at one time but with exotic's I have no issue.I will never use another coal again.if you have the same issue as me then get some exotic's and a funnel bowl,(the funnel bowl is easier to not burn the shisha which will also give you a headache)brake up the exotic coal into 3 part's,light all three and use two of the pieces for about the 1st 20-30 minutes or until more heat is needed then add the 3rd.let me know if that helped so I can be happy I saved you from building an alter and having to give Arcane a shot of Gray Goose and 1 small pot of sinigang.I'm sure Arcane would have helped more then me but my way is cheaper.
3. there are a few thing's that cause your head to hurt but the worse of all of them is by far the burning of the tobacco.when smoking hookah ,you aren't really smoking, your inhaling vapors.nothing is actually burning unless you heat the bowl up to much.if your bowl heats up to much and becomes harsh then take all your cowls off the bowl and clear the chamber then put only a couple of the cowls back on the bowl until it starts to smoke again.if the issue keeps happening then you may have already over cooked your bowl and get to start all over again.also if u load the bowl to high then the shisha will be touching the screen and be burning that way so don't over load your bowls.this is the main reason for your head feeling like its in a vise. if you have allergies, the burnt smoke can cause sinuses to fill up and press against your brain and make you want to die, even if it means burning to death.ya,there that bad.i keep some saline spray in the bathroom and use it right away when i get my suicidally bad headaches(what the fuck,my letters got bigger for some reason after i copied and pasted the word saline.oh well, sorry).i over came the headache bullshit through my love of smoking hookah so don't give up,in your next life time you might be one of those health nuts that doesn't smoke hookah so go deal with the pain till you find a way to smoke without it.life is to short not to. one more thing,i just got a nammor hose and some coco nara coals and im trying them both at the same time and oddly enough,my head is hurting a smug.what are the chances that it happen's as I'm writing about it.It could be the extra pull from the nammor or the new coal's.I usually use exotic's and decided to try some coco nara coal's so that may be it.this is a very important topic for allot of us so i will be keeping you all updated as soon as possible about how everything work's out. 4. cloud nine is my go to for most hookah needs.also a cool lounge if you want to go out with some people and smoke.$15 per 1-3 people on one bowl of any kind of starbuzz out there.the owner is a very nice guy and tries to help as much as possible.he seems to be able to get whatever you need by the next day.he took a stem off a mya hookah to sell to me and said he will get another one tomorrow along with letting me know he can get any flavor or anything else by the next day.best of all if its 2 am i can go get what i need to smoke considering I'm a day sleeper.they close at 1 at the latest but usually I can depend on them to be open till 2 or 3. cloud nine 7835 South Rainbow BoulevardLAS VEGAS, NV 89139 (702) 586-9743
5. nice forum.people disagreeing with me from the heart and not just talking shit.i love it.don't worry,we still got love for each other, were just having a good conversation.now as for me having a low thread count, thats because i haven't been on this forum very long but I've been smokin for 5 years and load the best bowls out of any I've ever smoked so don't assume I just started smoking.hookah lounges are a down grade compared to how I get down at home.also,if u look around enough you will notice that there are 1000's of hookah's out there that don't work well because they are for looking, not smoking.i have a basic looking hookah that smokes like a dream but would drop a few thousand on a hookah to simply be a work of art on my shelf if i had the extra cash to spend.now that's a good point however you look at it so long as you leave out your opinion on ed hardy products. I do agree that with this particular hookah not working good is bullshit.for a hookah to be just a work of art that works bad,it should be because the artwork couldn't correspond with the usefulness of the hookah so if the hookah was the actual shape of a tiger head (or something along those lines)and was advertised as art and not a smoking utensil then it could be considered priceless.so fuck that hookah.you all made really good point's.now if the hookah was the shiznit for smoking then I would pay whatever they asked so i could have the sick ass ed hardy picture on my daily smoker.so fuck them, lets boycott that hookah till they make it look so cool it simply can't be used or till they make it smoke well. Don't get me wrong,i will still buy ed hardy because the shirts are made to last long enough for me to be happy and the note books at Walgreen's are the same quality as the plane ones for a few cent's more.
6. shiny side down because it sound's kool. looks better on the bowl.i think it's bad luck to put the shinny side up.let's all just go along with that theory.no really, when some one ask's why shinny side down, just say good luck.
7. and another point,if ed hardy wasn't so popular most of you would be impressed by the hookah.it's amazingly amazing and beautiful
8. i wish i was as kool as you guys and could hate ed hardy products but i cant due to the fact that i think the idea of not liking something because it's gotten so big is just another way to prove to yourself's that your not like everyone else.i like ed hardy and think his art work is amazing and refuse to fall into the ed hardy is to trendy crowd.i like his Japanese tattoo style for what it is and would have his art on everything if i had the cash.i LOVE this hookah.even if it sucks to smoke out of i would still buy it to put up somewhere in my house to look nice.it sucks that everyone has to put everything down for being popular.it's so cool and trendy to say you won't buy something because it's trendy.well guess what, you just hit a brick wall.ed hardy isn't going to just go away because you wan't to impress your friend's by dissing on everything that gets popular.ed hardy will be respected and placed on everything from cell phones to car's for as long as tattoos are being placed on people.ed hardy isn't just another fubu teeshirt or fila shoe to be tossed away with the times.he is and has been a highly respected artist for many years and its wonderful that his art is being used to make so many products that we use on a daily basis look so beautiful.I know it's over priced for you and me alike but just because something is out of our current price range doesn't mean we should dislike it.this is just my opinion so please don't get mad.if you have a valid point to respectfully prove me on then gr8.i always love learning new things.if u want to know more about ed hardy and why it mean's so much to me then check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Ed_Hardy
9. QUOTE (Toxik916 @ Dec 7 2009, 05:15 AM) This video is great too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJfYAJJYMqg...feature=related it was kinda funny but dude went to far.the free hug campaign is support to promote peace and acceptance so i was not very happy about the free hugs guy getting messed with so hard.it would have been good for a bit but after the free hugs guy tried to move to a different spot the joke should have been over.at the same time mr free hugs need's to relax and stop acting like a little girl about it.
