1.
That is exactly the kind of thing I am looking for...... I know that alot of off-brand egyptians are crap compared to brands like KM and MZ... I'm guessing that Syrians are the same way? I've seen some cool looking "syrian" peices, but they aren't nour/nawras. I don't want to get them though if it's for sure going to be a crap product.
not all generic egyptians are crap compared to KM, Temsaah, and MZ i have a small generic syrian that I love also.
 2.
Yeah, I saw hookah johns selection. I might end up going with one of those, although they are smaller, and the stems don't have the same cool engravings. I would post something in the trade section, but it looks like numerous people are trying to find this type of syrian hookah.
yeah, pretty much the gold version of mine. heres mine
 3. John still has the new nour pipes, for cheap too. the thing people dont like about them though, is the hoseport isnt large enough to fit an egyptian style hose (KM, Temsah) without sanding it down all the washable style hoses (narbish, nammor, razan) work great The downstem and the ports themselves, are actually bigger than my Nawras 27" spiral, by around .010" ID for downstem, hose side, and purge side.
 4.

Can you name a few companies who sell the best hookahs???
Excellent purchase Chinamon!!! Thanks for taking the time to post up pics too.

Hey there M0Nk3Y, thanks for joining the forum. When it comes to who sells the "best" pipe, there isn't really an answer. There is a large handful of brand names that people trust and buy from, but even some of the non branded hookahs are amazing, just not garunteed with a purchase to be as good as the rest of them. Some brands I love and trust, and can personally recommend are: Nour syrian pipes, Khalil Mamoon egyptian pipes, Temsah egyptian brass pipes and MYA chinese hookahs. These all have different qualities that make them top quality pieces, and would recommend them to anyone. Some brands/pipes that I know other forum goers trust are: Nawras syrian pipes, Nammor egyptian pipes, Al Fakher syrian pipes, Elmas turkish pipes and Magdy Zidan egyptian hookahs. I will say again though, the only reason I listed these as the "best" brands, is because the companies typically give security in knowing you're buying a pipe that performs just as well as any other in their hookah line. There are plenty of unnamed hookahs out there that smoke as well as A Khalil Mamoon or a MYA. If you find one you really like, or a few even, post a thread! Get opinions, suggestions, comments, etc. I know myself or anyone else here will guide you in the right direction. For any info on what each brand or line has unique, post a thread and we'll be happy to help.
Nour makes Al Fakhers pipes if im not mistaken...

 6.

its not bait and lure, its just lazy...they DO NOT update their stock list on the website, a handful of times they have called me to replace a flavor that they are out of stock of but have it listed on their site...they simply do not update their site, fact. I got bug powder from them in April if they were bait and luring, they would have Tangiers Blueberry listed on topic: I like them for their prices and customer service. Most of my orders have had problems, but they always fixed it and the customer service has been great with me...I've heard of other people not being able to reach them but everytime I call mid-afternoon I get through to them, never had them not pick up...but they are slow on responding via internet. Its a vendor where you order at your own risk bc as Iain said, they make absent minded mistakes all the time. I'll keep ordering from them until they screw me over, which hasn't happened and I dont think is going to happen...the price for coals and tangiers makes it worth the hassle to me because I am always looking to save money anyway I can
Bug Powder? I'm confused.
Bug Powder is a Tangiers flavor.
 7.
UPDATE: Just called Ashley as Social Smoke back. She apologized for the problem, and they are sending out a new vase for me!! Great Job SS! Much happier now, wish that I didn't need to go through the little dance with you guys, but (as long as this vase is a good one) I am happy again! Thanks!! Alex
Because they finally caved to sending you a vase, does not deserve a "great job" and a "thanks" If you had not repeatedly called them, they would have just ignored it.
 8.
Now that I think about it, I'd also really like to use glass screens if I can as well. Would there be any issues there with any of the bowls?
just use foil, any kind of screen is overrated small phunnel- dont let the name fool you, they are still big, good for smoking 3 hours or so. alien phunnel- uses half the tobacco of a small phunnel, wider and shallower, good for 1.5-2 hours, harder heat management with noir tangiers due to the shallowness crown bowls- glass bowls, either the crown or phunnel style, different sizes to choose from, i have no experience with these, but many people here swear by them.
 9.
Getting ready to buy a new bowl for my hookah here soon. It will be my first upgrade from the basic one that comes with most hookahs. I want something for general use, but I'd like to try tangiers here in a bit down the road as well. Usually it's just me and 2 or 3 friends smoking. I'm curious to use the glass screen as well. Would a tangiers bowl be the best option? Or, would another brand be more viable? I've heard lower quality shisha doesn't smoke that well out of tangiers. Also, would I be good with a small or should I step up to a medium?
small tangiers, alien phunnel, or crown bowl, everything seems to smoke better out of a phunnel
 10. Very easy to deal with, shipped fast, very well packaged, there was one problem, but it was the shippers fault, would do business with again.
