Non-washable hoses

Non-washable hoses are much harder to clean than washable hoses as non-washable hoses have a metal coil inside the hose, that begins to rust once it comes into contact with moisture or liquids. The one way to get rid of the build up inside of a non-washable hose is by holding each side of the hose under the end bits ( in order for them not to rip off) and to "hit" the one side of the hose against the other, thus loosening the build up. Now one can take the one side of the hose and blow fiercely into it, thereby getting all the loosened build up out. Repeat this multiple times to get all of the build up out.

Washable hoses

Washable hoses are much better to use as they are easily cleaned properly, meaning a better smoke. There are multiple ways to clean a washable hose some of which include running warm water through it, running lemon juice through it, running vinegar through it or even some types of alcohol. Some of these substances you can use to soak the hose in for an hour or so. These being lemon juice, where you can soak your hose in a lemon juice/warm water mixture which will eliminate the stale smoke smell and taste and only give off a lemony taste until you smoke out of it again.

Note: Always make sure your hose is washable before running liquids threw it!!
