  2. Is there any good places to get premium shisha around Oklahoma City? Im here for buisness and I cant seem to find any at all . Any suggestions? Thanks
  3. Speaking of Oklahoma City, where are some local shops that sell some decent shisha such as starbuzz or al waha? I cant find anything, maybe Im looking at the wrong places. Thanks for any input
  4. Layalina WATERMELLON: Setup: Lunar 2 Hose Hookah 34", Cobra hoses, Standard clay bowl, 2 Starlight coals, water and Ice in the base, regular foil (1 layer). Smell: Very Sweet watermellon smell, kinda like jolly ranchers? or the big league chew bubble gum watermellon flavor. Cut: Not too many stems, medium cut. Very drippy wet. Taste: Eh, not too impressed here . The taste was sweet, but also tasted sadly like vomit. Im not being overly picky here either. It tasted bad. This was not a heat issue, there was just a very strange undertaste besides the sweet watermellon candy taste. Smoke: Decent smoke, not awesome. average. Duration: I cant really give an acurate rating on this category because I gave up on this flavor after 20 mins. Buzz: None. Overall: 4/10. This flavor had potential in my opinion, but the other hidden flavor really ruined it for me.
  5. Layalina LEMON: Setup: Lunar 2 Hose Hookah 34", Cobra hoses, Standard clay bowl, 2 Starlight coals, water and Ice in the base, regular foil (1 layer). Smell: LEMONHEADS! Very candy like, but not very sweet, like a lemonhead or warhead Cut: Not too many stems, medium cut. Very moist, but not sopping wet like Raspberry. Kinda sticky. Taste: Awesome. Strong lemon flavor, no weird under tone tastes. Just a crisp refreshing lemon. Great by itself, or mixed with orange or raspberry. great taste (did I say that already:) Smoke: Very good smoke, not crazy, but enough to hide the face and make some nice rings:) Duration: I got 1.5 hours on about 20g of this shisha, going through about 3 coals, maybe 4 (I lost count ) Buzz: None. Overall: 9.5/10!!! I have to give this the highest rating out of all the Layalina flavors I have tried, which is pretty much all of them. Awesome refreshing flavor, cool crisp smoke. No funny aftertaste besides what is supposed to be there, LEMON! I am going to buy a 250g tub of this stuff! Try it!
  6. Hookah Hookah Orange: Setup: 32" Lunar 2 Hose Rotator, Egyptian clay bowl, Golden Coals, Hawaiian Punch and Welch's Strawberry Breeze fruit juice concentrate all blended with ice in the base. Liquid 1-1/2 inches above stem. Cut/Smell: Orange leaves. Very fine cut with NO STEMS!:) Very strong orange smell (natural orange smell, not candy like). moist cut, not drippy. Smoke: Medium thick smoke. Buzz: none Flavor: There was a very strong natural orange flavor even before there was much smoke. Then after the smoke thickened up, the flavor was on. The only thing I didnt like about this shisha, is that it kinda had a funky aftertaste, kinda like a tobacco shop smell/taste (if that makes any sense at all) Kinda ruined it for me. Overall: 7/10 - smoke could've been a LIL thicker. Good orange flavor, but the tobacco shop smell/taste turned me off. Maybe mix with vanilla?
  7. Hookah Hookah Fruit Punch: Setup: 32" Lunar 2 Hose Rotator, Egyptian clay bowl, Starlight Coals, Cold Water in Base. Liquid 1 inch above stem. Cut/Smell: Orange leaves, moist not drippy. NO STEMS:) Very Fine cut. Smoke: Medium thick smoke - Very smooth. Not harsh at all, unless you have too much coal. Buzz: None Flavor: The flavor at first was kind of weak, then things picked up. I got a slight Hawaiian Punch after taste. There was another flavor undertone, but I cant describe it too well, not too noticible. Overall: 7/10 - smoke could've been a LIL thicker. Flavor was subtle, but good. Not going to buy a tub of this shisha.
  8. "The Mad Scientist" Layalina (all equal parts): -Orange -Sweet Melon -Vanilla -Coconut -Strawberry -Raspberry -Peach -Mangosteen Smell: Very interesting smell, like a giant fruit punch bowl Flavor: The same as above, so many different flavors mixed together, kind of mind boggling. All of the flavors blend well yet you can pick out many of the individual flavors. (especially the melon, raspberry, and peach. The vanilla just made everything very smooth and creamy) Cut: Typical Layalina, medium stems, very drippy Smoke: Thick white clouds, the thickest I have ever had from Layalina Buzz: Mild buzz, since I was chaining the thing (it was so good) Amount(approx)/Duration: I got an hour and 40 mins from this bowl Hookah Type: 32" Lunar 2 hose rotator hookah Bowl: Standard clay bowl Foil/Screen: Heavy duty reynolds wrap Coal/Amount: Three kings (2 coals cut in half to achieve 4 small pieces) Liquid in Base (here's where it gets goofy...: -1 tsp Vanilla extract -1/3 cup milk -1/3 cup Tropical Colida mix (V8 Smoothie) -1/8 cup Coconut Rum -1/4 cup Tropical juice (Looza brand) -5 drops Lemon juice -2 cups water Overall satisfaction (scale 1 to 10): 9/10 - Awesome mix. All of the flavors were mixed very well with very even balance. I could taste all of the flavors individually, and the liquid mixture in the base was just another piece to this mad scientist puzzle. The smoke was totaly thick without being harsh at all. If you got a bunch of Layalina laying around, give this a try. I know that this is kind of overkill, but I was extremely bored and kind of in a rut as far as shisha flavors go. After this trial and success, I will be trying way more goofy experiments with flavors and liquid combonations.
  9. Fruit Cocktail -1/3 Al Ajamy Fruits on the bottom -1/3 Layalina Cherry in the middle -1/3 Layalina Strawberry on the top Smell/Flavor: By far the best mix I have ever done. Loads of flavor. Even though the flavors were layered, there wasnt exactly a "change" in flavor through the session. All of the flavors mixed very well. Very smooth smoke with Tons of flavor. Cut: typical layalina. Smoke: big white clouds, and not harsh at all. Buzz: medium buzz. Amount(approx)/Duration: I smoked it for maybe 30 mins, then saved it for later (had work to do) Hookah Type: 32" Lunar 2 hose Rotator Hookah Bowl: standard egyptian Foil/Screen: heavy duty reynolds wrap Coal/Amount: three kings Liquid in Base: Hawaiian Punch Overall satisfaction (scale 1 to 10): 9/10 Awesome flavor and not harsh at all. The flavors really blended well together.
  10. "Fruit Medley" Layer shisha in the following order...(from bottom to top) 33.3% Layalina Peach 33.3% Al Ajamy Fruit Mix 33.3% Layalina Orange In the base add... Water Coconut Rum Strawberry Margarita Mix Sweet and Sour Mix Mandarin Orange Juice (from can) Some Mandarin Oranges also if you like (from same can as above) This was one of my first attempts to mix shisha along with an experimental liquid mixture. It was very tasty. First the Orange flavor was very dominant, with a splash of coconut and sweetness from the liquid base. Then after about 10 minutes, I started to taste the Fruit shisha, along with the Orange. About 30 minutes into the session was when the Peach shisha started to arrive. Very smooth throughout the entire session, all 2 hours worth. Very good mix, try it.
  11. Al Ajamy Fruit Mix Setup: 32" Lunar 2 Hose Rotator, Egyptian clay bowl, 3 Kings Coals, Water and a pinch of coconut rum for some excitement. Liquid 1 inch above stem. Cut/Smell: Holy WETNESS!! Dripping, I mean dripping red leaves, very few stems. strong fruit scent. Smoke: Pretty thick smoke, not too crazy, but decent. Buzz: No buzz. Flavor: judging by the wetness of this shisha, I though it would have more flavor The smoke was very smooth, but kinda tastless. Overall: 5/10 - good cut, decent smoke, just no flavor. with good heat management, it lasts quite long (15g lasted me over 2 hours)
  12. Nakhla Fruit Mix Setup: 32" Lunar 2 Hose Rotator, Egyptian clay bowl, 3 Kings Coals, Water and a pinch of coconut rum for some excitement. Liquid 1 inch above stem. Cut/Smell: Kinda dry and sticky. Very strong fruit scent. decent amount of stems. Very Weird chemical smell, almost like ammonia or household cleaning supplies (not cool) Smoke: Pretty thick smoke, however, I was scared to smoke this due to its ammonia like smell. I spoke with the tech support at hookah-shisha.com and he said that it may have been very old, or stored improperly. Buzz: Pretty good buzz, no headache like some of the Layalina flavors. Flavor: aside from the ammonia scent and taste, my entire mouth was bursting with fruitiness. It had to be the most flavorful shisha experience that I have ever had, besides Nakhla Strawberry. Very good, I'm just not too sure about that ammonia smell Overall: 8/10 - Lost of flavor. The smoke was decently thick. I would highly recommend this shisha. (as long as it doesn't smell and taste like ammonia)
  13. Layalina Orange Setup: 32" Lunar 2 Hose Rotator, Egyptian clay bowl, 3 Kings Quick Light Coals, 50/50 orange juice and water in base. Liquid 1 inch above stem. Cut/Smell: Fine cut, very strong orange scent, Few stems. Very wet. Smoke: Pretty thick smoke - VERY smooth. Not harsh at all. I triet adding more coal, and still not harsh at all, just more flavor and thicker smoke! Buzz: Slight buzz Flavor: My 2nd choice so far out of all the Layalina flavors. Great taste, not harsh. Smoother than the Peach Layalina. Overall: 9/10 - This is one of my favorite shishas I have had so far. I have tried Romman Cherry and Double Apple, both of witch were harsh (to me) and I couldnt taste any flavor what so ever. Maybe it was just a bad choice in Romman flavors. The smoke was nice and thick, loaded with plenty of flavor. I would highly recommend this shisha.
  14. Layalina Plum Setup: 32" Lunar 2 Hose Rotator, Egyptian clay bowl, Golden Coals, ice water 1-1/2 inches above stem. Cut/Smell: Purple / Red leaves, medium sweet scent, kinda like plums, I guess, but not too strong. moist cut. Smoke: Medium thick smoke - Very smooth. Not harsh at all, unless you have too much coal. Buzz: No buzz. Flavor: This was the second Layalina flavor that I didnt like. It did not have much flavor at all. This was another flavor that I could not "taste" very well at all. Just more of an aroma, not taste. I will not be buying this flavor again. The Peach and Raspberry were MUCH better in my opinion. Overall: 5/10 - smoke could've been a LIL thicker. No taste=bad score. I will continue to stick with the "standard" flavors.
