1. Vortex bowls are so much better. You do not need to have the stupid mod on there. Phunnel bowls get the foil stuck in the center. And on top of that you can get ash down the big wide open hole. that's why in my opinion a vortex bowl is better and the man from that site responded to my email and he's gonna set up the order.
I'm not quite sure why anyone would want a larger Vortex bowl, much less a Vortex bowl at all. But that's just my opinion, as I prefer the phunnel design. Eric of Tangiers, the man who created the phunnel bowl, actually created the Vortex design first, but he tossed it and stuck with the phunnel design instead. There's gotta be a reason for this. 2. Send an email and use their contact form on shisha-king.de
I actually think these Vortexes look rather nice. Have a much more hand made look to them as opposed to all the machine-pressed Vortex bowls I'm used to. I kinda want one of these.
3. For all of you vortex bowl lovers out there, there is a vortex bowl that is bigger than the model currently available. It is called the Jay Jay Vortex bowl. It is sold on this site. http://shisha-king.d...products_id=948 I don't think you can buy it if you live outside of Germany. I saw somebody from EDIT had some, but I don't know how to get my hands on it. Please help. Thanks, Greg
 4.
oh yeah. i completely forgot about the possibility of the plastic melting. whoops. lol
It wasn't my idea to begin with. Why are all of you calling me a dumbass? It was chuck's idea from hookah-shisha.com I wasn't the one who thought of it. damn
 5. I want to make a scali mod out of a plastic bottle cap. A customer service representative from hookah-shisha.com told me to do this but he didn't know how to do it. Tried looking it up on youtube and there were no videos. I don't want to use a tealight candle tin holder because I don't want to have all that heat going on tin and then it going into my body. Does anybody know how to make one out of a plastic bottlecap? Thanks, Greg
 6. You know how normally when you blow air into the hookah hose that air is supposed to come out of the air release valve and at the top of the stem? Well when i blow air up it does't do anything. It doesn't blow air out and water just goes up the downstem. What do I do to fix that? Thanks, Greg
 7. I set up my hookah. It's a tall hookah. I think it's Egyptian. I put on the funnel bowl. I used two pieces of thin foil. I put three quick light coals on the top only poking holes under the surface area of the coals. I have a nammor hookah hose. This is the same setup I used last week and I got huge clouds. I also have a heba diffuser on the downstem. When I go to take a drag there were barely any bubbles and almost no smoke at all. What am I doing wrong? How do I set it up right to get massive clouds? Thanks and happy hookah smoking, Greg
 8. I just bought this new stuff called tangerine. It's made by fusion. It sucks. When I smoke starbuzz or any other brand I always get the biggest clouds, but with fusion I will be taking a huge drag with my nammor hookah hose and barely any smoke comes out. I paid $17 for a 250 gram case and I am not pleased. Has anybody else tried this Fusion shisha? If so did you like it or not? What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Greg

Not your bowl, brotha. I'd say it's your packing technique or heat management. Walk us through what you're doing.
+1 Bowls don't contribute much to headaches unless its a restrictive pull like a vortex bowl. The phunnel shouldn't be restrictive at all, though.
I pack the tobacco on there lightly. Then I put two three kings charcoals on the top. I only poke holes underneath the surface area of the coals in a circle underneath the coal. Then I smoke. I'm guessing that it's really hot and all of that hot co2 is getting in my lungs giving me a headache? Please help. Thanks, Greg
 10. I like the design of the phunnel bowl, but I tend to get headaches when I smoke with this bowl. Think about it there is more heat trapped in a small area than if you were to just use a regular bowl. A lot of the heat escapes down the bowl through the stem to the base every draw you take from a regular bowl. Would just poking extra holes in the foil when using a phunnel help out with this problem. Cause lastnight I got a headache after smoking al-fakher grape mint out of the phunnel bowl. I fell asleep with a cold rag on my forehead. It was unbearable.
 11. I was smoking the rootbeer float flavor by Epic Smoke out of my hookah. It was a phunnel bowl. I was getting massive clouds but I soon got a headache. This tobacco has a lot of molasses and it was dripping from the containter that it came in. Flavor wasn't that great but I was getting good clouds. How do I prevent from getting headaches from smoking hookah and has anybody ever used the heba diffuser? I bought mine on the internet and it comes in the mail on friday. happy smoking, Greg

 13.
Went to a hookah bar near me today and it made me realize that it sucks knowing more about hookah than the people who work there. As soon as they brought the hookah and i took the first hit i knew something was wrong. It was an obvious air leak so i found the leak and brought it to their attention and they promptly replaced it. The new hookah they brought me had the wrong stem base combination which caused the pull to be very difficult so i said something and they fixed it. One base was overfilled with water so it pulled up into the hose Amount of coals i know is a matter of preference usually but they really didnt get it right ever. I kept asking for more coals or less coals. All in all it was not a BAD experience, once they got the hookah right and let me handle the coals it was a good time but I felt like an ass bringing them over to tell them all these issues with the hookah. Anyone else have this problem? At a hookah bar and know more about it than those who get paid to pack and manage it.
They are just in it for the money. I don't generally go to hookah bars since getting your own hookah and shisha is so much cheaper after the initial purchase of the hookah. They are just in it for the money and they don't take the time to do it right.
