  1. Meteorology? University of Oklahoma. [quote name='Jeff_T' date='19 February 2010 - 04:09 AM' timestamp='1266574195' post='452397'] If I were looking at those 3 schools I'd probably go Iowa, Nebraska then Mizzou. Going somewhere that has the major/degree you want to pursue should play a big role in where you're going though. Are you absolutely set on atmospheric sciences, do you have any experience with it or the classes that go along with it? When I started school I was in a pre-pharmacy program, then transferred schools and did anthropology, then photography and finally landed on Finance. I thought I knew what I wanted to do and that completely changed while I was in school. I'd highly recommend doing a campus tour and visit places you're interested in, if you have the time/money/etc. Good luck on your search. I know it's lame, but personally If I knew I was going to do Finance, I would have picked a school based on their football and how well I liked the campus/atmosphere before the program itself, since Finance is pretty standard... 3. Howdy! I'm a newb here, clearly. My name is Josh, I'm 28 and I've been a fan of the hookah for years. I didn't realize there was a forum for this stuff! I first smoked the hookah (or nargila) with my Arab instructors when I was learning to speak Arabic back in 2004, so that's who taught me how to setup my hookah. It was great sitting around smoking it with Arabs from all different countries, speaking Arabic Since then I've owned three hookahs, one is about 4 feet tall and I just use for decoration. I bought it in Qatar. The second one no longer exists because I broke it after going on a river float trip, I miss that thing. It was a 28 inch Syrian style hookah. And the third one is just about the most basic 17 inch hookah you can buy, but I wanted another hookah badly. My favorite flavors, so far, and I haven't tried but maybe a dozen or two, are Mango and Pomegranate. I like mint too, but after several puffs I find it hard to inhale. I'm not much for all the designer and fad flavors, but I'm sure some of them are okay. I've got a few more packs of shisha on the way at the moment, double apple, plum, raspberry and bahraini molasses. I've been smoking Al Waha shisha, I like it pretty well honestly. Everyone has their opinions on different brands and all that, my motto is if it smokes well I keep smoking it. I get good smoke from it and the flavor is great. I pack lightly, use foil, and ice water in the base. I'm not much of an elitist when it comes to coals, I just go to the local shop and buy the easy light round coals, they burn long enough for me to cash a bowl, and they burn the shisha I'm using evenly and at the rate pace. I see the hookah as a social activity and relaxing, and most hookah lounges I've been to completely annoy me. We have a hookah lounge here in OKC where the music is so loud you can't even talk to the people you're smoking with. I won't mention the name, but it was completely ridiculous. Perhaps it's changed in the past year. I dunno. I have several artifacts that I purchased while over in the middle east that will highlight my hookah room someday. When I have my own house, it WILL have a hookah room. No chairs, just a nice rug with a shorty table with my hookah on it, some pillows, some oil paintings I bought in Qatar on the walls, and various other items. The table will be covered with a Syrian tablecloth I bought. Anyhow, nice to meet you guys!
