I got mine to fit by forcing the grommet onto the hose, then shoving it in there lol.

That would be crazy! I'll write mine when I get back from class or sometime tonight... Fell asleep shortly after writing this and running late for class now, ha.

Plus it doesn't hurt to have a classy base, and a wind cover. some flavors will tend to ghost...as crappy as it sounds, you can either invest in a washable hose or get 3-4 non-washable hoses. there are some flavors that will leave your hookah and hose smelling and tasting like what you just smoked i.e. mint, cinnamon or some other strong flavors...this is called ghosting... i've never experienced permanent ghosting, but i've had a few flavors stick in my hose for a day or two...most recently, was nakhla peach. i just blow it out...hang it up somewhere and wait a few days...this usually gets rid of the ghost on its own. it's never a problem for me since i have almost 20 hoses. but, i usually have hoses hanging up everywhere anyways. if you need a few non-washables, pay for shipping and i can send you some of my hoses. most haven't been used...i got mostly standard KM hoses, btw. another way, which seems to work for me is to smoke Tangiers...yep, i know weird...but, if i smoke Tangiers...the first 3-5 minutes, i can taste the old flavor but then it goes away...after the sessions, i blow out the hose and its ready within a few hours... i remember Eric saying something about his tobacco preventing or removing old flavors...then again, i may have just imagined that somewhere... Dreaming about Tangiers are we?

I'd have my own hookah lounge filled with the hookahs mentioned above me ..especially the pumpkin, ha.

If you're planning on relaxing and enjoying an hour longer session but won't buy a hookah because it takes 5 minutes to clean I'm a little curious as to why.. I'm with the others on this, QT's are great, was my first hookah and still works great and smokes almost as good as my KM. I've never been able to get MYA's to purge well though, but that's not that big of a deal.. I'd say either make your sessions 5 minutes shorter, learn to like cleaning your hookah, or just give up on smoking hookah... The Leila is alright, but it's advertised more as a travel hookah, just get a QT, it's less than half the price and no one ever complains about them.

Eh, the base does have water in it, which makes me wonder if he actually did clean it several times before listing or not. Not that it affects anything, you can clean it yourself..but if he's being dishonest about that, what else could he be lying about? I'd say just buy a new MYA, they're not too expensive..for some of them. And they all smoke really well, even the QT's which are like $40.. If you do buy it, I'd say try to buy it for cheaper, although $50 isn't bad.

Yeah, and you have to also take into consideration that their target audience isn't going to be daily hookah smokers. People who purchase these probably don't smoke that often, so the quality of the pipe won't be great.. And if someone does purchase it for a daily hookah smoker, it would be more of a gag gift.
