New Type Of Shisha?

Recommended Posts

First, before anyone starts getting nuts, YES, I have checked the review section for this shisha, and NO I didn't find anything on it. I even did a search, so cool your jets people, I may have just found a new brand...

Anyway, here's a short backstory. So earlier this week I got an e-mail from one of the various hookah supplier sites I've registered with saying they were sending out free samples of this new brand they got, so I was like sure I'll try it. Anyway, so I completely forgot about it and it came in the mail today (really fast actually considering I sent the e-mail on Monday). So anyway, I opened the package and there's a bright orange sample pack of some shisha I had never heard of entitled Amaren. Here's some pics...

Here's a close up:

So has anyone else tried this stuff? Or do I have the privilege of being the first on the forums to try this?

Alright, so my friends and I tested this stuff out last night, here's my review of it, which I'll also post in the reviews section. It turned out to be strawberry...

Amaren Strawberry

Setup: - 30" 3 hose Egyptian Pharaoh, cool water in the base

Coals: - Golden quicklights

Appearance: Pretty nice cut, juicy but not too wet. Good consistency.

Smell: Nice strawberry kool-aid type smell. Strong smell.

Taste: Fairly potent taste of strawberry kool-aid type drink mixed with hawaiian punch. Long lasting strawberry flavor.

Smoke: Nothing special, just an average medium thickness, though it thickened up with another coal on, but still not much.

Duration: Lasted us 3 people an hour and 40 minutes and the flavor was still evident. Coals died out before all the shisha was actually used.

Buzz: No buzz at all.

Overall: Out of the two other strawberry flavors I have tried (Nakhla & Al Waha) this has them both beat good. Very nice strawberry flavor and lasts a long time. The only thing was the smoke wasn't real thick and there was no buzz. 8/10

yeah i got a sample of the amaren (which i'm suprised the english printed on there isn't Kamareen, but that's another topic). I recieved double apple, and wow. first and foremost, i'm not a double apple fan, but this double apple actually tasted like apple. the consistancy was like smoking velvet. again, i say wow. I can't wait to try more flavors out. the only problem I had with it was it seems to smoke rather quickly, leaving me wanting more, and sad I only had 100grams.

But yeah, the moral of the story is I haven't smoked anything that comes close to its consistency, and it's an amazing consisteny, and yes, it's redundant for a reason.

You're right,, some double apple tastes like licorise, but Amaren Company and i had been working togther to make sure it does not happen with this Premium Brand
It will taste better if you guys use Natural Charcoals not any quick lights,, the taste will be amazing,, try it and let me know

...yes all dbl apple tastes like licorice, with the exception of this brand. there's still a tiny hint of the anise, but there is a definate apple taste, which is why it is so very yummy.

Hello thereI would defiantly suggest that you guys use Natural Coals, BELIEVE ME it will change the taste of the hookah and tobacco
