As people get to drinking and not paying attention they get the hose wrapped around. On the lazy susan if they pull at least it spins to correct instead of tipping. mushrat Posted February 12, 2007 Author Share Posted February 12, 2007 The Saga continue:So the health inspector comes in and says: those 2 coolers are junk, the sinks need to have the dains redone as the laws have changed, you need more dry goods storage and fix this and that. Ok, I then get a 2 PAGE letter with stuff that needs to be fixed. Then there is the damage to the downstairs storage room from the clogged drain. The schmucks who used this place a year ago used it with a partially clogged drain, this caused water to lead into the cieling and collape part of the downstairs rooms ceiling. The landlady has NO idea. The guy im trying to get this from has already told me she knows and i wont have to pay for it. As you can see I'm trusting him about as far as i can throw him. So the land lady, me, and her husband in construction, aall pay a visit to the place. they see the damage, say he's going to have to fix it or pay me to fix it before I can get the assignment of the lease.Meanwhile, Marlo, they guy im trying to get all this from, is in NYC for 3 weeks and is missing the whole good time except when I can reach him by phone. He usually ends up getting upset and screaming in italian and english at me while cliaming everythign is in great shape. So so Marlo is due back Wed. The landlady is NOT happy with him and is going to tell him the good news about paying for the damage. At thesame time I am knocking 10-15,000 off my original offer take it or leave it. He;s going to take it to his lawyer to check the wording etc. and then talk to the land lady to find out what she wants of him. Since he didn;t say NO and is looking to make sure everything is kosher, He may go for it. Said he;d get back to me in a few days...Keep thoose happy thoughts coming folks.
