I third allia's idea. Get a nice glass display case big enough to fit it in and keep that old hose and bowl with it. It would make a great conversation piece like it is.
So is the basement big enough to use for small private parties or anything?

It's not THAT nice a hookah to display, besides, I like to smoke out of the thing. wink.gif
But it will have a place in the bar, rest assured.

Andrew: I have ALREADY spent a lot of money. My CC company put a hold on my card due to about $4000 I put on it in one day paying for my hookah and sisha orders. After my reasonable but VERY unhappy call to their anti fraud line I have been assured that THAT won't happen again... dry.gif

Tomorrow I buy about $4-5,000 in new coolers and another bean grinder for the espresso set-up.

I'm hoping that the fun of opening all the packages when they come will take some of "oh my gods, what have I done." feeling... rolleyes.gif

I've found a graphic artist who is going to do some work for me for free, as well as someone to paint the sign once its been designed and approved by the city.

NOW I'm getting excited...

I know that feeling. Its a good feeling though when you start unboxing stuff. It just kinda hits you and you wonder wtf you have done.

And the goodies are arriving!

Now I have a windowfront, sorta. The signs say "Hookah Bliss":

Mush:

Be carefull of leaving the colored glass MYA's in the sunlight.

A friend of mine has a store and he desplayed some of the amber colored "cut glass" MYA's in the window and after about 2 months, the side facing the window had faded to clear.

So, he had to rotate the base to the other side, and sell those hookahs as clear base hookah.

Your place looks great by the way!

you know, the first thing i look at when i go to a hookah bar is what kind of hookahs they use, so far you got a good display to win me over. second is what kind of tobacco they use. If they both please me, then i;ll smoke there

Luxor: Thanks man, I only plan on leaving them there until u have a real window sign etc to show what the place is. In the mean time I'm letting the Hookah's talk for themselves. tongue.gif

Ya, there's a whole lotta money getting thrown around. The Mya bill alone was over $1400. My new coolers are due on the 16th. My pepsi stuff is due about the same time.

Having to fix a few things unexpectedly. Some more shelves to hang, my plumbing job seems to have held.

I'll be glad when the benches are done and in place. I have a graphic artist who is going to design my logo, front findow, and main sign gratis...It's good to know people.

I'll send more pictures as there gets to be more things to take pictures OF.

Its pretty good for about 15-20 minutes. then it starts to taste like wood chips.

I've had several people ask if I was going to carry non-tobacco shisha, so what the heck...I'll get a little. Gotta carry what they want...
