I personally think thats a great situation to get you feet wet with. If I were persuing a start up like that.....thats what I would be looking for.

It's Bistro Chic, man!

Like I said earlier, it's a visually appealing place... it's good to stand out like the because it catches the eye more and makes giving directions easier biggrin.gif But yeah, a small bar and just a cozy place is def the way to go, even if it's just to start off. If this idea takes off, you can always get a satalite store or move to a bigger one.

an absolute essential is a hookah combo option. stacker, drink, and a hookah for like 12-15 bucks would be amazing. youd get so many college students in there. just be sure to id everyone. why am i telling mush this, you already know it. thats awesome man.

looks like a great place. my promise holds, when you get this thing up and running ill make the trek down to NC to visit it!
are you gonna try to buy some of the furnishings? because theyre kinda nice. though i think nice soft sofas would be amazing!

good luck mush. you better keep us updated so we can live our dream vicariously through you.

Ill be getting everything you see. I plan on having more benches/couches put in instead of the tables and chairs with low tables as well.

The first bank that turned me down for a loan that sends me a solicitation is gonna get an ear full wink.gif

Needless to say i'm scared spitless...but hey, gotta try once in your life right?

this is the new place.and things are going quite well in aquiring it.

ill be honest that looks alot better than the first place, like everyone is saying already the 'cozy' factor is better, and that is key for a hookah bar. now all you need is cofee tables and low to the ground padded benches. and a sweet music system

EDIT: NVM you already have the low padded benches Edited by [LB]

yeah like lb said. a sweet music system playing sweet chilled out electronica like thievery corporation, air, dj shadow, etc. and some traditional music. maybe have a couple theme nights.

awesome looking place

The place may be small but it is very nice. Like a lot of what people have already said, like a cozy place, etc. are good descriptions. And the obvious plusses like so many things already in place like the kitchen area looks ready to go.
With the restrictions on startup funds the place is especially perfect. Once you get this going it would be much easier to get funding for a bigger place if you decide to go bigger later. How far is this from the other place you were looking at?

a stacker is a sandwhich stacked high with meats and such. like a hoagie, sub, grinder, etc.
