I have tried lemon/lime soaking in hot water, and 90% Isoprophol Alcohol, nothing as worked. We haven't encountered this issue before but try filling the base with 2 parts vinegar to one part water and letting it sit overnight. If that doesn't work there's a special orange cleaning solution made for cleaning smoking accessories called Orange Chronic cleaner on Amazon. Hope this helps!
