Molpadia Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) Hi all. I just got a BEAUTIFUL custom glass blown hookah (pics if wanted) from a friend. He only used it a couple of times, but he smoked pot out of it. I'm using it strictly for tobacco, but I'm on drug testing and am worried about the marijuana resin (I used to smoke pot but can't anymore). Anyone know how to clean it out so I don't have to worry about failing a drug test? It's not very resinated, the slide is mostly clean. But it's way too big to boil. Any methods? thehelios Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 My non-scientific, unknowledgeable assumption: Rinse the inside with boiling water (MAKE SURE THE GLASS IS NOT COLD!) then run it a couple times with a glass cleaner e.g. Formula 420. Especially for glass. warm water, a few tablets, let it sit an hour and a good brush. you will of course have to stop up any openings. If you want to get fancy they make special resin cleaners for glass pipes you can get at head shops like purple power. But i just use denture tabs on my glass bases.
