Hose Question

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for super flexible hoses that don't have long connectors are aren't heavy. I would prefer washable. I started making hookahs as a hobby and I need hoses that won't cause problems with possibly tipping over the hookah. Any help or ideas is always welcome

nuhose and fancy hoses..

The plastic guys. I use them exclusively. lol Kind of awkward when people smoke tho: "hey, i love your eggerman/double wheat combo.... wait.. whats with this hose?" lol

they don't really have the nice looks you get from other hoses, but they're super light, and have a wide open draw and are fully washable. they pretty much last forever as long as you dont step on the tips lol

Plus mine would whistle, lol. Not only do you get a hose you get a damn flute too.

Best whistle sound happens when you wash the hose out and spin it in the air to remove the water.  WHOOOOOOOOOWHOOOOOOOOOWHOOO!

Have you ever given someone the whirleybird?

No.  But I have spun the hose around and hit something so I have plastic shard of hose flying everywhere.  Twice.  Not a good day.  :(

I'm not specifically promoting hookah-shisha but they were the first vendor to show up in both my google results.

They look like crap compared to normal or deluxe hookah hoses but they are one of my favorites due to ease of cleaning, packing up, and pressure.

They definitely seal to the hose port on the hookah. Unless you mean where the tips connect to the hose? Then no, they don't make a full seal, but it really doesn't make a difference. I still get MASSIVE clouds, but as Luka said, you can still use tape on those parts too (also this is a good way to label hoses for specific flavors or make the color scheme unique)

Yeah that's what I meant but no those hoses aren't flexible enough. They are okbas a quick hose but I would never use them as my main or a travel hose.

Those are the only ones that I can think of that are lightweight at the hose port and are flexible.. Maybe a Tonic washable?

I had one of these, it wasn't bad at all, either

I always thought htese were cool, and if i remember they're pretty lightweight?
https://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-12404-fretted-nammor-hookah-hose.html

and the regular washable KM hoses are pretty rad too, I think mine took a while to get flexible though, but after it was broken in lasted me a loong time

that should get you started I suppose. They're all washable too, so no worries there.

I'm friends with a manager at a hookah bar here in Indy called lava. I showed him the hookahs I made and I told him I'm having trouble finding a light with
Weight and really flexible hose.... He handed me this hose and told me to keep it..... It works perfectly, great draw and all washable.

Looks like the same tubing of your tonic hoses you posted. This one is an aluminum tip and handle.

Another good choice if you like that style is the thunder hose, it's pretty solid and has become my go-to

Do you have a link to one so I can see it?

Yep. As with other hoses, they have a few varieties:

I have only used the Thunder Clear, but it is definitely up there in my top 5 hoses of all time. I would like to try out a Thunder Pro as well.

If cost is a solid factor in your hose purchasing, just get nu-hose/fancy hoses like previously mentioned by others. I've been using my thunder hose pretty much daily for like 4 months and it's still going strong.
