I like trad Arabic music, and a LOT of prog. King Crimson, Deep Purple, Led Zep, Genesis, Dream Theater, Explosions in the Sky, Zebra, Rainbow, Zappa, Pink Floyd, Tool, Liquid Tension Experiment, Jethro Tull, Marillion, Pain of Salvation, etc. A lot of times I'll YouTube "belly dance music" and let the playlist go.

I would definitely recommend Niyaz, it's a alternative Persian music group with Indian influences from the Punjab region. It's perfect for the ultimate Hooka setting. Also, I recommend Axiom of Choice as well.

I like slow powerful vocal music. Or Arabic music. Or a combinaiton of the two which can be found in Feyrouz. I don't know why, it's some of the saddest music out there but its so relaxing to sit in the garage by myself listening to this music and feeling what the artists is singing about. The heartbreaks, the love, the loss, the anger, everything becomes to tangible. I use hookah mostly as a meditative tool and the emotion exercise when coupled with the music is powerful.

Some examples of the music:

I suggest that you go to louder music if you are working. It stimulate and balances the sleepiness induced by relaxed lungs. if you want to relax while smoking classical music from different cultures work. Some mention bethoven and I guess it is a great choice..if not the David Guetta or Swedish house mafia and the like. Cheers
