mushrat 2 Report post Posted March 30, 2013 I know soem of you follow me on facebook and the saga of the rail buggy that I won't give up on. so here it is, running again after an axle change i had to redo because something slipped in the transaxle when i put it in the first time and i didnt realize it. It's street legal and will do 80 on the highway with little effort but it vibrates your fillings at around 70. There is lots to fix on it. I think replacing the master cylinder for the break system is next. Followed by new push rod tubes, front shocks, front tires, and eventually have the other 4 mounts retapped so I can mount the originally intended 6 shocks on the back. Some day i have this dream of a new wiring harness but i think that is merely a dream. :) It's built on a 1968 VW Beetle pan with the original engine and transmission.
