Awesome, thanks John. That more clearly shows what you did. I'll probably try doing the same, if I can get a hold of a bowl port.

And cool to know I can use the tracking on either site. I'm gonna die watching this thing travel to me!

Eh, I did that once... Swapped out the tiny hose port on a Mya Petite for a bigger one on a QT... I felt bad after doing it, and swore to never do it again. I am pretty big on karma. Hell, one time I left Walmart I got outside and realized the cashier gave me a $20 back instead of a $10. I went back in and got a round of applause from folks nearby when I told her and gave the money back. She was so grateful because that would've come out of her paycheck.

So yeah... I tend to not do such things. They make me feel bad, even though it may not seem like a big deal.

Well, I might as well post the rest of the pics I got...

Is anyone good with Photoshop? If so, could you please photoshop this new shank (the fourth pic showing the full length of it) onto my vase in this pic? (Feel free to go ahead and edit out the hose, and background even if you want/need to):

I really need to mess around with Photoshop more...

EDIT: Here's another pic to use...

Thanks.
If I had to guess, I would amost think that IS a 639 with canaries welded on. The shape and etchings are identical to my 639
That's exactly what I thought

Guy I purchased it from acts like all Turkish brands are the same, no difference. Said these are made right in Istanbul where he lives, whereas Elmas are made in Izmir, right? He said the different makers use all the same parts, more or less. So perhaps that is why there are similarities to the 639. But really honestly I have no idea.

Who knows.

Yeah, Elmas does have its own workshop in İzmir where they do all the metalwork, at least if those videos are anything to go by. Given that everything is cast though, it can't be hard to copy the molds.

This is gonna drive me nuts waiting for this thing...

I know when my orders were coming from Turkey when I could track them with USPS it meant it reached the USA. So now once it clears customs you will see it in 2-3 days.

Yep, mine took 3 days to get from Turkey to NY. Then it say in customs the first time for 2.5 weeks, then took 2 days once it cleared customs.

2nd time same thing except it sat in customs for only 1 week.

They use USPS priority mail to deliver the parcel once it reaches the USA, that is assuming they used the turkish postal service like Nargilestore did.
