MN Hookah Posted October 29, 2006 Share Posted October 29, 2006 [i]Havana Double Apple[/i] [b]Set Up [/b] Hookah- MYA QT, room temp. water Bowl- Standard MYA QT Bowl Foil- Reynolds Coal- 1 stick of jap coals broken into halves, used 1/2 at a time Appearance- Very very juicy Smell- Obnoxiously pungent, but definately a strong double apple smell Flavor- Overbearing flavor, not horrendous, just over the top a little Smoke- Good density Buzz- Mild to no buzz Duration- 1hr 5min Overall- 6.5/10, An OK double apple, but the smell is just so strong and obnoxious, along with the flavor for my tastes. I was sincerely hoping it would not taste the same way. I despise anise.Flavor- A little apple and ALOT of anise/liquorice. Smoke- Thick thick thickBuzz-None what soeverDuration- 1.5 hrOverall- 5/10I guess this is alright, just not my bowl of shisha. Too much anise flavoring was offensive to my palate. Not the strongest of flavours, but it tasted a fair bit like an actual apple! Smoke: Got very thick after 5 minutes, pleasing overall.Buzz: Mild, quite relaxing. Not quite as good as Grape, but not too far off either. I slept 16 hours straight after three bowls!Duration: 20-30 minutes with three of us drawing and no attempts at heat management.Overall: 8 out of 10. Very satisfying flavour, I would strongly recommend it. Nice smell, great taste and very relaxing. If you're trying to introduce someone to Shisha smoking, Havana Apple would be a good one to use.
