I needed some dayes time to get used to it but finally I really enjoy smoking it. MR Bubble Posted October 26, 2004 Share Posted October 26, 2004 Hey Gamaliel, Don't worry about an Arc Sous being a straigh-up licorice. It took some time for me to figure out what it was. Well, in fact I never did figure out what it was until Alen and some others let me in on it. Very yummy. It is so much fun to smoke trying to identify all the different flavors as it constantly shifts. Nothing strong, but very mild and smooth. Absolutely wonderful. Gamaliel Posted October 27, 2004 Author Share Posted October 27, 2004 Hey Mr. Bubble, I'm going to order some Arc Sous today,tobbsman reminded me that you did a full review of Arc Sous and added my 2 cents in tha thread,LOL!!I like licorace root,I've made tea with it and since our mayor has forbidden smoking in bars,I'll chew a root on stage when I'm doing a gig.I just dont like the candy version of licorace that much.I'm going to order some jasmine as well,it's one of my favorite tea flavors,hopefully it translates well into massel.Many thanks for the great reviews all. Gamaliel Posted October 30, 2004 Author Share Posted October 30, 2004 Yep sure do,it's funny,you are allowed to smoke in a cigar bar and you can smoke in a hookah lounge or resturant.But cant smoke ciggies in a bar,LOL!Well I'm real happy I discovered the joys of smoking a hookah,I've cut down on my ciggie consumption by almost half,and now I dont even enjoy a ciggie,in fact I think it tastes like one of those top 10 flavors in another thread here Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gamaliel Posted October 31, 2004 Author Share Posted October 31, 2004 Ok,I open the bag and take a whiff,smells like a licorice stick,the candy not the root.I light up and I can't tell what flavor this is,Mr Bubble said it best,not a sweet smoke but most certainly savory.A faint woodsy floral undertone,a hint of licorice but more like the candy version not the root.A good neutral smoke,not a everyday smoke but if you are looking for something different you cant go wrong with this.I dont think you're going to want to mix this,however maybe a lil strawberry to get a red licorice candy flavor,might work.I was only able to find this in a 250 g size,if you can find a 50 g bag by all means take a chance.This is a flavor that you'll either love or hate.I enjoyed this and I'm not a licorice candy person.
