KasbahBazaar Posted August 16, 2012 Share Posted August 16, 2012 Recently I bought a nickel plated serving tray off eBay for a cool $9 including shipping. Well, I went out and bought a hole saw for my drill hoping it would make a nice cut. Wrong! It mangled the area I tried to drill but luckily enough I was able to save it using a grinding stone bit for my drill. Anyways here are the results (PS: Not sure I'm keeping that vase, just trying it on, but the montego shape looks so nice on that stem). What do you guys think? It looks good either way, but, personally, I'm a fan of deep trays. If you can find/make deep, wide and solid copper or bronze trays I would buy a few in a heartbeat. You know I love montegos!
