as a former hookahset customer i can agree with pretty much everything... ordered two of the tangiers 5 packs and only got 8 flavors. both were supposed to come with a box of kanaras which they didnt. i ordered 3 other boxes of kanaras which came as jamras. so a 10 pack of tangiers and 5 total boxes of coals came as 8 packs and 3 boxes. tried calling, emailing, PMing.... got no answer. im really surprised actually seeing that they havent done me wrong in the past... i wont be buying from them any longer. my business is now with ultimatehookah, 5star and H-S.

One problem I've seen with people ordering from hookahset is, that they already know how the website is and how their business practices go, but they just say "I am gonna keep ordering from them till they do something wrong with my order", so you are basically waiting to get screwed up with.

Life is too short to learn from your mistakes alone.

Short handed i have 4 coloiges here which should be 8-10 employers ( i know it sounds ridiculous since we are in a employment disaster) but i/my boss cant find anyone who will knows hookah or online knowledge with top dollar paid.
Holidays were here that cased us to close 4 days each week which cuased me to back up even more.
vendors are not being on top of thier game example kanra coals , cocnara, or any coconut coals were low in past 3 weeks nation wide which cuase what you have happen to you (they tell you we will have it by friay and friday comes nothing then dispont to monday and on -on ( you get the picture)they shipped the cocojamra instead of kanara and said no more kanara in the US and they even gave us a sick deal on loose coals to sell around $3 per 108pc for the inconivce .
Regular online seller like us dosent have to explian him self to you but i will becuase if i dont to you, who do i to?

Amazing. The only thing more excessive than the typos was the blame. It was the vendors fault for you keeping the discontinued, out of stock coals on the site and shipping the wrong coals to the customer, the customer should be more understanding because of that and he shouldn't be so upset because you tried to call him and so on and it's not your fault!!! But listen, you totally F'd up and you're sorry about the self-admitted and infamously poor service so bad even the mods bash you and you can't blame them.

If there was even half the amount of sincerity, thought, and humility in this "apology" as there was finger-pointing and incoherence, this passive-aggressive, forced apology could have at least fooled anybody who stumbled upon this thread into thinking it would still be a good idea to throw their business and loyalty your way. Mindboggling.

Honestly, where have there been holidays for the last month? Ok, it's Divali now, and Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur were recently, but those aren't a full month (...), and Eid al-Adha isn't for a few more days. Or were employees allowed to take vacation all at the same time?

Shit happens to everyone but nobody else seems to screw up so consistently.

regardless of "who's fault" it is, it is unacceptable to spend our money on a service that you don't provide accurately. as a customer, i don't care for the reason something is out of stock or for your personal excuses. it would be one thing if there were forewarning, but we always get apologies "after the fact" which is not acceptable. if i knew of those problems before i ordered, i would order somewhere else. passing the blame to someone else isn't the same as being responsible. i haven't seen anyone badmouth your company without good reason.

Ok, you've had your say. This month's excuses added to the last run of excuses "we are moving our warehouse" added to all the other excuses add up to just either really poor management or....hmm...really poor management. As the owners YOU are the final authority and the the last line of responsibility. If you are short on employees, then it's your responsibility to find new ones. If you can't find ones that know about hookah, then it's your responsibility to find someone who you can train. Don't tell me they aren't out there, it's not like this is rocket science.

Whoever you have answering the phones clearly isn't doing your company any favors even when there is someone there to answer them at all. Also YOUR responsibility. Keeping the website updated, if you have a person to do this, fire them and train someone new, but ultimately its also YOUR responsibility to make sure the interface between your business and your customers is accurate and up to date.

As to the amount of sales using our discount code, this forum and your code are visible to guests f the forum. Since it is clearly one of the best discounts then who the heck knows who is ordering on our code. Showing a sales figure associated with our code just means people ordered that much stuff using that code, not that they were actually forum members who are keeping their satisfaction a secret.

And finally, I am one of the world's worse spell and typists, but I use spell check and I read over what i type in a post to make sure it is intelligible and that I come across as sounding like I know what I'm talking about. What your have written, as a way to defend the integrity and professionalism of your company, looks like it was written by a third grader with their eyes closed. Even if English isn't your first language all the red marks on your screen before you hit "post" should be a good indication that you need to check your message. So now, instead of defending your company in a way that may make people sympathetic to your difficulties, you have left them with the impression that your are a semi-literate, blame passing, excuse making example of all the things your shouldn't do to run an on-line hookah business. If that offends you, then perhaps your should do something to actually improve your entire operation, instead of issuing a constant stream of excuses for why you can't just get it right.

I wish you the best of luck but since you can not even take the time to post a coherent response to people's complaints your account will now be suspended to keep more of the above drivel from showing up.

Lmfao, the Pauly D thing has me dying. I ordered from Hookahset once, and only once. Same experience as all of you. They had dirt cheap tubs of mizo, screwed up a flavor and sent a box of another flavor, didn't bother to tell me they were out, and it was a wrestling match to try and get the order corrected. Never again.

1) What browser are you using that doesn't have spell check? (Highlighted the ones I saw at first glance. Ignored Capitilzation errors like friday)

2) The Issue is your communication. Of all the vendors I have ordered from, I get calls to my cell when they are packing up my box if they are out. They don't make assumptions. (You know what happens when you assume) We talk through what's out or no longer available and make the switches or they refund the price of whats out. If I ordered Coconara and Got Al Fakher Coals, I wouldn't be happy until I got a refund and the chance to throw them at the presuming vendor.

I love how Mark isn't really taking any responsibility and is just pushing blame...and then he fends off this by saying its a MOD attacking him...I posted as a customer, not a mod...I called and emailed as a customer, not a MOD
I was a loyal customer, I even promoted to friends and local businesses. Now I'm a pissed off consumer, who's business you lost with the way you know how to run one. The only time MOD is into it is because it is in my member title, something I am honored to help out with here. As a MOD, we weed out the garbage like your company Mark, good riddance.

Everyone else pretty much said what I was going to break down his post into retorts, Fusion and Mush, well put.

And if you are closed 4 days a week, how about posting it in bold on your website and maybe having an answering machine for your phone...I dunno, maybe don't accept money for orders you can't fill.
I'm thinking of referring this thread and the review thread in the direction of the BBB and see what that does for you.
