I seem to get great results from packing my Tangiers like this.

I don't push down too much. I like being able to get air flow through the tobacco, so it burns longer.
I like to use a tooth pick when i poke holes. I make 8 big hole that go all the way through to the bottom; a ring of four around the inside lip, and a ring of four on the outside lip.
If you would like I can get pictures of all of that too.

I kinda wondered if a slightly different packing method would work better here at our altitude. Every method I've had success with has been slightly different than the "normal" methods I see on here. I'll give your Tang packing method a try next time I get some of it.

Hallie and I pack tang in two totally different ways and get great clouds either way....try this method out.
